The people are friendly and able to answer questions and concerns as needed. After a mishap where they didn't return my texts or send me a quote for follow up service even after I had been texting and emailing a few times, they realized the error and mistake and have since been great. I appreciate their informative reports and having a good mechanic in the neighborhood is so important. Glad I found one!

I had a great experience in the Menlo Park location. The intake person did a wonderful job of greeting me, checking me in, and letting me know how the work would progress. I was sent texts about check in, how the work was going, inspection results, and recommendations. The vehicle was ready before I expected, which was great. Once again, the service quality at the Castro Valley Shop was world-class/exceptional. The service technicians were knowledgeable, courteous and easy to discuss options with. best auto repair I have ever seen in silicone valley ! I came to the shop for tire pressure problems. I called their shop 15 mins ahead and they confirmed the problem within like 30 secs. Then I go there .. no waiting time they fix my problem within 5 mins. How amazing!

I came into the garage today explaining I had something wrong with my windshield washer. The windshield wipers work, but the washer doesn't. The manager kindly said, pop the hood and she showed me where the line at the top was chewed through and that the reservoir wouldn't hold any water because that was compromised as well by rats. I live in the country. I've never posted a bad review before, but Stress-Free Auto Care in Menlo Park deserves this one. I was charged more than $2,100 for new brakes and within days, I knew that they were DEFECTIVE! I brought my car back, they put on a new set of brakes, and by the time I arrived back home, I knew that these brakes were defective too. Third time's the charm, right? Not in my case.
