I'm not that type of person that leaves reviews. The last review I gave was 4 years ago. Stress Free replaced my transmission about 800 miles ago. My disappointment with them only reflects the service I got not the quality of the repair . I have 3 issues with the service I received: 1) Texting is their preferred way of communication and I understand how convenient texting can be. However personal conversation on a phone is sometimes much easier to explain issues. I feel they don't understand how important this personal touch... read more
Came here for an emergency fix and they worked with me car was fix in nice time and very professional
We had our car towed here because we thought we had a transmission problem. Intake was pretty smooth however after asking for my phone number I was never informed that the only form of communication I would receive about my vehicle was text. I get it a lot of folks prefer this but when I get a large repair bill via text it is frustrating and overwhelming and the lack of recognition by this company that some things just require personal touch is astounding. I recently visited Stress-Free Auto for a transmission check. I was immediately impressed by the clean, well-maintained waiting area. The staff was knowledgeable, professional and trustworthy and I knew my vehicle was in capable hands. As a woman and someone who does not have an in-depth understanding of automotive mechanics, it's easy to feel vulnerable to upselling or unnecessary repairs; however, I felt completely at ease. This company conned me so bad! Tried to seriously charge me another 1,200 for a coolant leak after they didn't fix it the first time and charged me 2,400. I took my car to Ace Auto on mission and it's 90 for the part and 220 for labor. Stress free auto care are some crooks. I'll never go back here or recommend this place to anyone .

Name is legit. I hit a median and was told needed to spend $6k+ to replace my transmission. After servicing as much as I was comfortable with on my own, making tons of calls, and towing my car all around the state (lol), I was ready to give in and spend that $6k. I set up an apt with Jon and his team for a Wednesday (29) morning diagnostic and an estimated 1-1.5 weeks for full transmission replacement.
