3 years ago I had my transmission rebuilt at Fremont Ford, or so I thought. They were telling me the stall and clunking noise was turbo lag. Well it wasn't! My husband took my car to Stress Free Care, formerly Keith's Transmission. Jon was so patient and understanding. He really listened to everything my husband said. Avoid this place at all costs and I would give this place 0 stars if I could. This shop quoted me $3,200 to replace a control arm because they claimed the guide bolt couldn't be removed and the entire part had to be replaced. They didn't even attempt to extract the bolt they immediately pushed for a full replacement. I took my car to Harrys Auto Repair for a second opinion, and they removed the bolt immediately and fixed the issue without replacing the entire control arm. I saved roughly $2,900.
