They're a truly quality mechanic shop with great expertise on Japanese and American type vehicles. Especially when it comes to their knowledge in the electronic parts of cars, which is invaluable this day in age. They gave a great diagnostic and the value was especially great because they gave advice on what to do next and what I could do to save money and time. Great place, great people, super down to earth, definitely recommend them.

I had a great experience with Made In Japan Auto Repair. On Sep 28 while driving on I280 during rush hour, my car suddenly lost power to the front wheels. I called AAA and AAA suggested Made In Japan Auto Repair for my Japanese made car. After diagnosis, Made in Japan said that the problem was in the front end, the CV Axle assembly which connects the power to the wheels. They made repair and quickly and efficiently. Totally diss-organized and extremely expensive. It was not a good experience although they did do the work.
They really took the time to address my concerns. Pricing is extremely fair. Even went above and beyond to help me get a rental car. I finally have a mechanic shop that I can return to and trust.

I had to take my car in for 105K tuneup. Glad I took it when I did because they found several small oil leaks. Matt and his team are great. I am also glad that they offered me a ride both ways.
I have done a significant my amount of business with Made in Japan and I've been fairly happy with the quality of their work that's far however, with this last transaction and tremendous amount of work that they did on my daughters Toyota SUV I completely and thoroughly feel like I was hustled I asked him over and over and over and over again to please go through the entire vehicle with a fine tooth comb and let me know any and all items that were wrong with the car.
