Stress-Free Auto Care is a great place for your auto needs. Brian told me what they were going to do, how much it was, and how long it would take. And that is what happened within 2 hrs. This is my go to place for tires or tire related issues. I will continue to buy tires from SFAC.

Wasting of my time, do not bring your car here. I made appointment 2days in advance with VIN# and license plate so they can prepare oil and oil filter for my car. When I got there today and they dont even have the oil filter, on top of that Gene dont even know what grade of oil is using or how many quart of oil for this car. This is very bad and wasting of my time to come out today. never and never again with this shop.

The client was not interested in paying for the additional oil above 5 qts as stated on the oil change coupon. This in itself was the only real issue the client had while here on location. We explained that some vehicle engines have more than one viscosity recommendation. The license and VIN# was not enough information to isolate the proper viscosity. The reason I followed up and pressed for clear answers is simple: over the phone, I was told "we can't do anything unless and until the car fails again." I visited this place after getting a flat tire from a nail. I went ahead and made an appointment and they were able to fit me in for an appointment the next day, hence the 2 stars. I arrived early for my appointment, about 15 minutes early. I walked in and shared that I was here for my 8:30 appointment, I explained that my back right tire was flat due to a nail. Had a check engine light on. Brought it in at 8am car wasn't worked on till 11am. Once they checked it they just reset the check engine light. The only good part was they tested for other things.

I had my flat tire replaced by them and they did a good job. However, when I retrieved my car, I observed a few scratches on the wheel rim where the tire was being replaced. I came to the conclusion that during some point when my car was in their hands, they were not careful in handling the wheel rim when exchanging the tire. I came to talk to them the next day and I was told by Gene, who is the general manager, that they would agree to repair it with someone they know who does wheel rim repairs. AVOID THIS SHOP AT ALL COSTS! We originally started using Tires Unlimited (now Stress Free Auto Care at the Stevens Creek, San Jose location) for alignment and tire services on our AMG after a recommendation. At first, when they operated as Tires Unlimited, the service was excellent. The team was knowledgeable, honest, and professional. For example, on one occasion, I brought my car in for an alignment. I booked an appt a week in advance for 9am. Despite them proudly saying they keep you up to date throughout the process by text and with pics 2 pm rolled around and nothing??? I called Gene to ask status of vehicle and he put me on hold for 15 mins as I was tortured with the Stress Free Auto Care jingle about text updates etc....during that 15mins I asked my son to drive by as we were close.
