Had a check engine light on. Brought it in at 8am car wasn't worked on till 11am. Once they checked it they just reset the check engine light. The only good part was they tested for other things.

I had my flat tire replaced by them and they did a good job. However, when I retrieved my car, I observed a few scratches on the wheel rim where the tire was being replaced. I came to the conclusion that during some point when my car was in their hands, they were not careful in handling the wheel rim when exchanging the tire. I came to talk to them the next day and I was told by Gene, who is the general manager, that they would agree to repair it with someone they know who does wheel rim repairs. To be fair I feel we should clarify some of your comments. The wait was simply waiting for the wheel repair man to show up. He took one look at it and stated with a blemish that small he would just cover the dimple with wheel paint. He left us the paint and we carried out the minor repair. AVOID THIS SHOP AT ALL COSTS! We originally started using Tires Unlimited (now Stress Free Auto Care at the Stevens Creek, San Jose location) for alignment and tire services on our AMG after a recommendation. At first, when they operated as Tires Unlimited, the service was excellent. The team was knowledgeable, honest, and professional. For example, on one occasion, I brought my car in for an alignment. I booked an appt a week in advance for 9am. Despite them proudly saying they keep you up to date throughout the process by text and with pics 2 pm rolled around and nothing??? I called Gene to ask status of vehicle and he put me on hold for 15 mins as I was tortured with the Stress Free Auto Care jingle about text updates etc....during that 15mins I asked my son to drive by as we were close. They are great, very reliable and trustworthy. Yes, they are more expensive than other places, but worth every penny. They give 2 years warranty on everything they do. Highly recommended.

I'm a new fan of Stress Free Auto. Gene and Brian listened carefully and asked great questions, They took the time to help me understand what might be wrong. I had a bad camshaft sensor. I did some research and confirm the correct course of action. Stress-free installed the parts that I purchased and I was on my way in less than an hour and a half. Did I save money in time?? Absolutely. Would I refer someone? I already have! Call them now to set an appointment. You'll breathe easier here and be stress-free.

Came in to replace my tires and it was a really easy! They kept me updated throughout the process, and were very comprehensive with their review of the car and included pictures. They gave me the wrong cost estimate of replacing my wipers, so they honored the lower price when I came in to pay! Really nice of them to do that, and made me feel like they are really transparent about the pricing. Gene was great! Would recommend :)

Easy to fix online appointment and get a $10 discount. Another auto service shop said the wheel alignment cannot be done, unless so many expensive items were changed. But at Stress Free they not only aligned the wheels but did a good job. The best part I like about Stress Free is they don't upsell you on unneeded repairs. They point out repairs needed but don't force it on you. Also if something is not needed, they say it upfront.
