This is how they treat a long term customer who has spent thousands upon thousands of dollars there? Read on..... I was sitting there for an hour watching other customers come and go while my dog was getting bloodwork and xrays. We got there at 1:40pm . how long does it take to do blood work and xrays? So finally, after an hour, I get up and ask "how much longer?" From that point on, treated like shit by the receptionists. I tell them I have to leave and that I do not need to wait for the "expert" opinion of the xrays... read more

They only get a 1 because I have to put something in. Worst experience ever. First question, is anyone who works here over 20? Including the vet herself? Other than the 2 at the reception desk, expect very rude, unprofessional service. Don't question the bill and what they are charging you for, just pay it with a smile on your face, and by all means keep your mouth shut! Block out the morning/afternoon and pack a lunch when coming here because it's going to take awhile. Reception will tell you it's a 30-minute wait, but the wait is much longer than that. The care seems competent, except for mischaracterizing the wait times, though the alleged lower prices don't make up for the time you waste. Do yourself a favor and make an appointment elsewhere. Also, half the customers stink of cigarette smoke.

Disgusted with Value Pet Clinic by Home Depot. We are moving Tuesday and my cats medications accidentally got packed by the moving company Friday. today I called the vet clinic to see if they could write a refill prescription for about two weeks to get us to Virginia and they refused without us coming in again. I have very little time to come in as there are movers and loaders at my house the next two days - absolutely disgusted that they couldn't give us about 10 days of pills. Doctors will do that for people but not a cat?... read more

I take all my pets here for shots. Anything outside of that, you should probably find another clinic. My one cat was declawed here and it didn't go well and the bandages they put on were too tight. We thought the cat was going to lose its paw but thank goodness it survived. I took my dog here to get spayed and they called me to pick it up and it literally took an hour to wait for someone to bring out my dog. Terrible wait even with an appointment. I liked this place but after this last experience, I'll look for a new clinic.

I've been going here for years, and called in for a standard flea treatment (Nexgard) for my dog, I called at 8:55 am, 5 mins before they opened and placed my order. They said they'd call me back once it was filled and had it in stock. I called at noon to see if it was available. Lady was rude and assured me they'd call me. It was 4 pm when I called again, very upset. They lady at the desk told me to come on in and it's be available then. I arrived at 415, and checked in. Still not filled. my dog appeared to have some sort of gastro-intestinal ailment, and so I got him in to Value Pet Clinic. Have been going here for a few years, for shots and dental work. Was always pleased with the care they provided. The vet, who I liked very much (apparently she specializes in Emergency Vet) took an x-ray to make sure he didn't have any sort of blockage. She saw something "unusual" on the x-ray, and wanted to send it off to a radiologist, which I agreed to. She even suggested that it could be a mass......the C w... read more

I would never recommend this location to anyone! I took my dog in for shots and received an estimate for teeth cleaning that was reasonable over a year ago for $250. This was reasonable in my mind. I went back to the clinic recently with my pups and scheduled an appointment and planned on having their teeth cleaned. The exam is $31 per pet where the doctor glances at the dog's teeth for a flash of a second. Then disappears for over 45 minutes. No one checks on you during this time. I wouldn't give them a star. They are so rude, they tell you your pet needs unnecessary things. Their guess is as good as yours. I could've googled it and come to my own diagnosis. Go to a normal vet if you can, they will value your business more. I'm never coming back.
