Such a great taco shop! Loved every taco we had! I tried the asada, adobada, lengua, and an asada tostada! Everything was so delicious! I appreciate the ratio of guacamole to meat! The flavor is so rich and meat is not dry! The staff was so friendly and super accommodating! Very clean and diligent about service! Love the caguama theme around the restaurant!

Business response:

The first thing that drew me to Tacos El Franc was the atmosphere. The open-air patio, picnic tables, string lights, and industrial-style setup gave it that casual, authentic taco spot vibe that makes you want to sit down, relax, and enjoy a good meal. It looked like the kind of place where you could grab some tacos with family or friends and just hang out. Unfortunately, the food did not live up to the expectations created by the ambiance. The only tacos that were actually worth eating were the Lengua tacos. Everything else... read more

This place was kind of confusing. I wasn't sure if the waiter was suppose to serve me or if it is self service. When I received my mixta fries there was no salsa and no asked me what kind of salsa I want... so I got up looked around I grabbed my own salsa in those pre packed to go cups not sure if those were for to go orders or for dine in... and refilled my water cup by myself multiple times. The mixta fries were okay. They used like battered style fries which isn't my favorite. The carne asada was fine and the adobada wasn... read more

Tacos are good but nothing special. Smaller than most and for the price just not worth it imo. Maybe it was over hyped so had little higher expectations. Also agua Fresca is small cup for the price is crazy. Not memorable.

I've tried this place out a couple of times and the tacos are mostly solid! There were a few times where the tortilla was soggy but it still generally tasted good! They're super quick with ordering and getting your food. And there's a lot of seating! I always take people here when visiting!

Business response:

Hi, Alexis. Your feedback is highly appreciated. Thank you for the review!

Heard this place was v popular in Tijuana (and rivals Tacos el Gordo) so came to check it out! I got the Adobada and Tripa tacos ($4.65 each). Wish I ordered 2 Adobadas instead. The tripa taco was fine.. but I wished it was a bit crunchier. Also the salsa on top is spicier than expected! They did give a good amount of tripa though. The Adobada was yummy, but I wished they had more meat on this one. Heads up, the guac is slightly spicy too. We really liked the tortillas here!

Business response:

Hi, Sandy. We appreciate the kind words and are glad we could provide you with a positive experience!

The service was great! The carne asada was very filling and generous- I just personally felt like the salsa was carrying the whole taco. It could have been more hot, didn't have any smoky flavor, and overall didn't feel the most cohesive. Had the lengua which was underwhelming and the adobada was lacking sauce and the suadero was dry. In a pinch it's not bad but won't go back.

Wow really solid tacos! The cabeza was so good. Tender, fatty, juicy, and super flavorful. Definitely one of my favorites. The salsa verde on top was perfect with it. The lengua was also amazing. Really tender, juicy, and packed with flavor. I think this was my favorite one! I also got the adobada, which had a great marinade and nice char. It was a little salty for me but still really good overall. They were generous with the guac and I thought it went best with the salsa verde. All of the salsas were great too. The mil... read more
