4.5-5 Stars.... We had always seen a huge line at Tacos El Franc at Plaza Bonita, so we decided to wait until the hype died down before checking it out with the family. I'm so glad we did because it's now one of our favorite taco spots! We ordered a variety of tacos to share, along with a generous order of carne asada fries and a mixed adobada/carne asada fries. Tacos el franc is great. I'd say we change the name to tacos el Guac given the generous amount of guac they give. Not a negative.

Came in with my party of 8 the other night and we enjoyed our time together at Tacos El Franc! My cousins always hype this spot up and everything was great, from the service, food, attentiveness. Probably some of the best adobada fries I've had in a while; Their Jamaica drink is refreshing as well. All the flavors from my dinner tasted so fresh and worked well together, we all left happy and satisfied. Thank you!

Wanted to try something different vs our usual spot while down in San Diego and was recommended Tacos El Franc. I ordered 2 Adobada tacos and 1 cabeza taco. The cabeza was cooked well, super tender and rich. The adobada was also delicious, I don't think the meat was as flavorful as other spots, but was still good. Their salsas are more mild too. Ambiance was nice for being located in a mall. Plenty of table seating and bar seating available with quick service.

Limited choice menu but good stuff. I got a adobada and beef brisket taco. Their tacos are traditional size street tacos. There is a limited "salad bar" with radishes, limes, and cucumber slices.

Authentic, delicious, reasonable prices, great location for family entertainment options as eleell and the habanero salsa/sauce is legit . What more could you want?

Finally tried this surprise gem! Nominated taco spot at the mall?! Who would have known. We're lucky to have a tasty just steps away from the mall. Tacos are loaded with flavor meat and toppings. I suggest 3-4 tacos depending on how hungry you are. Service was friendly, swift and attentive if you wanted to order any additional tacos. Spacious outdoor seating which is perfect for a lovely day. Inside has plenty of seating as well. Next time I'll grab a margarita to enjoy with my meal.

Tacos are getting overpriced everywhere. What I like about this place is that you get sat down and have a server. The competitor place you have to stand in line for tacos, then figure out where to sit.
