Shopping was powered by tacos today. We got a chance to off another place from our foodie list. The hubby enjoyed all of his tacos. My favorite was the taco de cabeza. The carne asada had a slightly weird taste to me.... Perhaps a different kind of carbon? One of the best tacos I've ever tried, super flavorful meat. The michelada was really good as well, service was great as well, very attentive. We tried al the adobada/al pastor, carne asada, & cabeza. The tripa ones were the only ones not great.

My friends and I were hanging out and we've never tried this restaurant before so we decided eh why not, since we were already in the mall. When we arrived there were no lines so we were seated immediately. The restaurant is pretty nice, it looked super funky and cool and menu had a wide range of things to choose from. I ordered (from what I remember) the Adobada, Asada, Mixto, and Lengua tacos. All were which were super super good. Tried Tacos El Franc... my wallet cried, but my stomach said "worth it." Got the tacos al pastor and mulitas -- both were straight . The pastor had me questioning all my life choices leading up to that moment, and the mulitas were so loaded I almost filed them as dependents on my taxes. Not cheap, but honestly... I'd let them rob me again.

Had to try these Tijuana Michelin star tacos for the first time as they make their way across the border and was not disappointed. The meats were very well marinated and tender, guacamole was fresh, salsa had a nice flavor and kick to it and the tortillas were very obviously hand made. Blas gave us Michelin star service and attention. We will be coming back!

Wow wow wow!! The flavor of the adobaba was amazing. No salsa was needed to add flavor, but when added it only made it better. I got a adobada taco and a chicken quesadilla. The quesadilla was more of a traditional smaller quesadilla but very filling. We also got the horchata that was the best I've had in San Diego. When you first walk in, a server will seat you and take your order. They are super fact with getting your food out. If you have a bigger group not all the food will come out at the same time. Ordered 2x horchatas, 3 briskets tacos, and 6 asada tacos. Let me tell yall. The food was fire. The horchatas were amazing. I did find a little fly in it, but I definitely cannot complain. Highly recommend this place. 5 stars from meeeeee!!!!!!!
