Nice, warm welcome from hostesses. Our server was very kind and helpful. She recommended some dishes and we tried them all. Loved it! The Adobado quesadilla was super delish with guacamole. The meat was tender. The carne asada beans went down nicely. French fries were nice and crispy! Gotta come back again and again.

Worth the Hype! Tacos Done Right I've walked past Tacos El Franc inside Plaza Bonita Mall plenty of times and always noticed the insanely long lines. I've been curious ever since they opened, and today I finally decided to give it a try. 100% recommend this place it's great! Adobada is my favorite, and the drinks are super good too, I love the jamaica here it's amazing! The staff is super nice I have not done din-in I've only done to-go, but everything has been great.. Food is served very well and you get your sides included cups of hot sauce, limes, rábanos, cucumbers, don't forget to ask for the cooked onions and jalapeños, they are amazing! the tacos is superb, but we didnt have the "nice staff service", the staff who attended to us is not accomodating, she gave us the menu, and left without saying anything at all., when she came back, she asked for our order., when we asked her about the food in the menu, she gave us the irritating look., the tacos are amazing, but it comes in small portion which makes it pricey.

I have been going to Tacos El Franc in Zona Rio (TJ) since I was eight and I am now 37. Reviews below five stars for this taqueria are from people who either do not appreciate or know authentic Mexican cuisine or are just haters (sorry not sorry). My mom and I had lunch here today since they opened the location in National City. We were immediately seated and were waited on by Elena, who was a doll! This place is located next to Broken Yolk. Plenty of parking since this is part of Plaza Bonita mall but anticipate everyone fighting for spots! Came on a Saturday with friends and the line was constantly busy which is always a great sign. Ordering was quick, as well as seating, and the food didn't take too long to arrive. Service was quick and the food came out fresh one by one, which kept everything hot. Every bite was full of flavor, and the guacamole was a highlight--it wasn't just sauce, it was the real deal. Definitely worth a stop!
