Was seated outside love how the staff would come up every minute to check up on us!!! Our server was very sweet, We ordered 2 tacos of carne asada and 3 mixto tacos overall the meat was very good and tasty!!

Love this spot! I came in 7pm Tuesday and was seated right away. What I liked about this restaurant is that unlike other taco spots, you can sit down first and have a look at the menu to order instead of waiting in line to order everything up front then vulturing for a table. This was nice so we could order more at the table if we wanted instead of getting back up in line. The other thing I liked was that those tacos were filled to the brim. Literally had the best carne asada taco I've ever had and it only took 20 minutes to get seated, order, eat, and pay. You really can't beat that. Tried the cabeza, adobada, suadero, and campenchano tacos as well. They taste as good as some of the taco trucks I've had in SD. The carne asada was next level tho. Would mainly just come here for that. Tacos are kinda pricey too, but the asada is worth it. Did not know it was a sit down restaurant, but that didn't matter since we were in and out in 20 minutes. More of a 4+ due to missed points on the carne asada taco. They told us that they make handmade tortillas for just the carne asada taco and the quesadillas. The tortilla on the carne asada taco got quite soggy after sitting about 5 minutes before I was able to eat it. However, the adobada was excellent and the serving size was more than heaping in the quesadilla. I also thought the naranja drink was refreshing and not overly sweet. Arlette was amazing! She recommended carne asada fries! It was SOOO GOOD! OMGOSH AHH!! So yummy! We ended up ordering Brisket Tacos, Adobada Tacos, Carne Asada Tacos, Carne Asada fries and Naranja, which FRESH SQUEEZED ORANGE JUICE!! SUPER YUMMY! Honestly, WAY BETTER than Lolita's and Tacos El Gordo! AHH!! Lolita's truly skimped out yesterday I felt bad I brought my friend from out of town to Lolita's, I used to love them but it feels like they're meat portion is so small, TACOS EL FRANC portion is huge!

This is currently one of the top dogs in SD. Arlette gave us great service and made our dinner even more of a fun night out with family. The vibe is great for all sorts of occasions, family, small date, etc. Lines are long but definitely worth the wait! Recommendations: * Carne Asada Fries * Carne Asada tacos packs more meat that most burritos * Freshly squeezed orange juice mixed that ***** with topo Chico and it's a wrap *

Hands down one of the BEST taco spots in San Diego! First off, shoutout to Arlette - she was absolutely amazing! Super friendly, attentive, and just brought such a great vibe to the whole experience.
