Finally got in without a wait ...hype is still there but I slipped in at 4pm on Thursday and surprisingly no line ..seated quickly and server was quick to take order ..what's nice is the tacos come as the taqueros sling them off so u just started eating away ..carne asada , campechano(carne /tripa) adobada ..some fries and vaso of beans ...all I can say is the quality is top notch ...can taste the grilled asada ..adobada thinly sliced ...only thing for me is I like tripas a little more crunchier ...beans are a must on any or... read more

I've been hearing all the buzz about taco el franc. I finally was able to make my way over and experience el franc. The tacos were absolutely phenomenal! The quality of the flavor in each of the tacos I had was so rich and delicious! Arlette my server was so helpful and went the extra mile to tell me about el franc and what to order. Additionally the service was very quick.

Taco heaven. The carne asada, adobada, and suadero were all fire--juicy, flavorful, and perfectly grilled. The line moves fast, the tortillas are fresh, and the meat is next-level. Worth the trip every time.

Yummy tacos! Came on a Sunday at 11am, when they opened. A short line and was seated within 10 mins. We ordered one of each tacos except for the vegetarian. And horchata drink. The tacos were good and delicious. I can't say it was extraordinary. I would caution you to check your orders and remember what was brought out. Tacos do not come out all at the same time, some take a longer time, like the cabeza tacos. The staff might have forgotten your orders too.

Absolutely love the tacos here and especially love the adobada fries. Service is fast and it's got a great feel in addition to the solid food. Been twice and can't wait to go again. Cabeza and suadero tacos are also legit.

Does live up to the months of hype and waiting! SD has some of the best TJ/street tacos north of the border!! There are so many TJ style tacos places to choose from! If you are opening a new restaurant serving tacos in SD you better bring it! Tacos El Franc is El Floppo. Had carne taco, lengua taco and an Adobada taco. Carne was ok, expected more flavor. Waited 1/2 hour to get in. Food was good restaurant very clean, people were helpful and friendly. $70, for 2 people. It's tacos, won't be back. Have to try once. No, not 12 tacos , 5 tacos, 2 drinks, small beans

I was so skeptical to try these because I thought they were not going to taste like the original Tacos El Franc from Tijuana but they prove me wrong. The line was short which is why we decided to try them and as soon as we sat down service and food came within 10 min super fast! Quality flavor ambiance is 100% like Tijuana. Yes, tacos are on the higher price compared to other local tacos in the area but you are paying for Quality and service.
