If you love ordering food the way you want it, this ain't Burger King--you definitely can't have it your way at Tacos El Frank's in Plaza Bonita Mall. (1/5) I've visited the Plaza Bonita location multiple times, and every single visit they've managed to mess up my order. My request couldn't be simpler: a taco with cheese, meat, and guacamole. Somehow, that seems to be an impossible task. The food itself has potential, but the repeated mistakes from the cashiers and servers completely ruin the experience. riday afternoon my wife and I set out on date day. We are in search of our favorite taco spot. We are from south texas "RGV" and when we go and visit there is not a location that doesn't have good tacos! I will start off with the location it has nice setting inside and outside. Their tacos were great in the beginning but this last time was super garbage! I got some old reheated tacos, the tortilla even looked burnt. The Lengua meat didn't have much salt or flavor, really sad to be honest. Will not be coming back.

The tacos are overrated. They charge you if you ask for onions asados or chiles asados. Other places it's free. Also I was over charged on my credit card. When I pause there the total was $61 but when I looked at my bank statement today I saw a charge of $95 dlls. I didn't save the receipt or I would go there to fight this over charge. I will be never be going back again!!!

I really don't understand how this place got all these 5 star. Tried this place for the first time last week. It was a huge disappointment! Very over priced for the food you get. Al pastor was bland and the horchata very watered down. We ordered tacos, tostadas, and mulitas but I still was hungry because we underestimated how small and not much meat our food was! There are other taco places cheaper and much better than this joint!

We were seated outside and served radishes and lime on a small dish. This is a restaurant style and not like your typical tacos el Gordo. I was disappointed to find that out. The tacos are smaller and more expensive. I had high expectations of this place only to be let down.

This is the vegetarian quesadilla from Uber Eats. No salsa on the side like the description. Ordered 8:20pm arrived 10:10pm. Paid $55 for tortillas with onions and a tiny bit of cheese and beans. Not to mention how cold the food was.Very disappointed.

I heard great things about Tacos El Franc so I was excited to finally try it out. I went with 4 friends on a Friday night. Plaza Bonita was packed so parking was hard. I was surprised there was no line at the taco shop at 7pm. We ordered a grande fries with adobado and carne asada and 2 tacos per person which we thought would be enough food for 5 at about $100 for take out. We were shocked at how small the fries were.
