Verified Renter Over rated at this point office staff is a joke . Community it self quiet no issue recently , miner insect issue bugs will come from out of nowhere everyone and a while .

Verified Renter Being honest things haven’t been the same as before. To start, this is now the second summer in a row that the three grills are not working. They’re either damaged, dirty, or just completely unusable. It’s honestly ridiculous especially for a place that’s supposed to be a “nice” apartment complex. Verified Renter I’ve lived at Oak Forest for over three years, and my experience has been frustrating lately. Lease renewal has been a constant back-and-forth with repeated document requests and errors. The property manager ignored me after I waited over 40 minutes in the office, which felt completely disrespectful. Roach problems continue, and past concerns still haven’t been addressed. I don’t feel valued as a resident, and I’d rate my experience a 2 out of 5.

BUGS (overall 7.5/10) Ok upon moving in , presentation was very decent , but I can really say the bugs are bad , they’ll say they’ll send somebody to come do pest treatment but never see anyone , but the bugs , like every other day I’m killing a bug “literally” and I’m very clean , I can’t get comfortable as I want too because you never know when or where you’ll see one and some are small , some are decent but the units could be debugged or something .

Las Colinas Heights misinformed me on the existence of washer/dryer connections in their units - twice! I originally toured Las Colinas Heights in February 2025. There were no townhomes with washer/dryer connections at the time, so I decided wait and see if one came available in the future. Verified Renter Community is safer than it has ever been. Seems the tenants are being screened much better. I do wish they would let us know when fees are added or increased as it can affect tenants who are on a tight budget as it is. Also, would be nice to choose if we want valet trash. Pest control could be WAY better. I have to ask every time I see a new neighbor move in and roaches come around. PLEASE spray outside of buildings more often. DONT RENT HERE This apartment complex is associated with Matador towing company and they wrongfully tow vehicles! My car was registered and parked where there were no signs or print on concrete stating “resident only” ive emailed and called and haven’t been able to communicate with anyone about getting a refund! Upon research i realized this is a pattern for the apartment complex and the towing company! Your visitors cars WILL be towed wrongfully if you lease here!
