Verified Renter Vista Alegre is a nice place however they charge a $50 fee to the resident for PNMs screw ups. Its happened several months in a row already and is unfair and rediculous.

You Bleed Money I lived here for a couple of years until the regular increases of $60 a month for a new lease became $135 a month. The $60 a month felt unreasonable but I was tired of moving so I paid them for a couple of years. Then, the $135 a month increase hit and I asked the desk girl if there was a deal available because the rent increases were eating up my pay raises. She just smiled. Would never come back here again!! If you're looking for an apartment complex with friendly and professional staff, do NOT rent from here. They maintenance crew leaves alcohol bottles everywhere. They don't give you any notice when they are coming to your apartment. I hope you don't have pets because their staff will let them out if they visit while you aren't home. The stairs are noisy and the water is shut off with out notice for up to 10 hours at a time. The only good experience I had here was getting out. BTW these guys ... read more

Worst property management If you are looking for a community oriented, positive apartment experience with a professional staff STAY AWAY FROM HERE!!! They shut off the water constantly without prior notice. They will let your pets out due to personnel going into your apartment without notice/consent. They will say they are sending pest control and no one shows up. Management doesn't care; period. Additionally, don’t plan on getting your deposit back because they will nickel and dime everything! Worst experience ever!!

Roaches Bad roach problem. First day moving in roaches came crawling up walls in numbers from under the carpets. Transferred to new unit and same exact problem. Even more roaches. My family lost 1000’s just by signing a lease at this infested place awful awful experience. Never actually spent a night in this place due to the infestation and leasing office had audacity to still charge us smh. Extremely stressful and office seemed to not care. Hi DeAndra, thank you for your feedback. After speaking with the on-site team, we understand they sent pest control the day the infestation was reported. However, pest control found no evidence of a roach infestation. The office was able to transfer you to another unit, but more roaches were reported after your move-in. Management has been trying to schedule a time for you to meet with Terminix. Although no meeting occurred, Terminix entered the home and reported no roaches, although they treated the unit anyway. Terrible Apartments. BEWARE The management is terrible. Maintenance crew is wayyy over their head. (over 3 weeks to get a service request fulfilled) Nobody in the office knows what's going on. Trashy residents. Apartments are falling apart. MOLD EVERYWHERE. 1 year was all it took for my gf and I to leave this place. I was due to pay $500 on move out with 30 days to pay. Incompetence Do not live here. I faced continuous issues with a leaky roof that had been there since Harvey (I lived on the 3rd/top floor.) Despite multiple work orders, the leak persisted. It got to the point that if it was going to rain longer than a day, I just put in the work order where all maintenance would do us repaint the ceiling in the bathroom where the leak was. Do not live here I would give this place negative stars. We lived here for a few years. This was the worst place I've ever lived. Black mold everywhere and they did nothing about it except told me to buy a dehumidifier. The charged an arm and a leg for repairs when I moved out and the management wouldn't respond by phone or e-mail when I kept trying to contact them. They even closed the office during business hours so I wasn't able to stop by to talk to them in person. The management and maintenance person was also VERY nosy... read more
