Good property but HORRIBLE management I have lived here for 1.5 years and have had an overall positive experience but ever since we put in our notice that we are moving things have been terrible. They didn’t take out our auto paid rent because we had to give them a reletting fee with our move out notice and they just used most of that as a “credit” for our rent. Decent complex but there are some pitfalls Lived in complex for two years. Positives: -Good location and safe community compared to other apartment complexes in the area. -Friendly leasing agents and maintenance staff. -Not the cheapest but not expensive. Respectable pricing. Negatives: -$75 dollar late fee if rent is not paid after the third of every month and an extra $10 every day after the fourth. HORRIBLE, FLITHY, DISGUSTING!!! Pictures are misleading, nothing looked that way in my unit. Bed bug and cockroach infestation! Major mold issue!!!!
Extremely rude and degrading management I would not recommend this place to anyone, unless they possibly had a different manager. I paid 700 dollars in pet deposits and 50 dollars a month to be able to have my two dogs here. They are giving me a notice to vacate saying they can’t rent the apartment above me because it smells like dog. The padding of the carpet upstairs is disgusting if I must say and common sense leads us to odors residing in carpet padding. Lacks Professionalism I went to try to take a tour today but they apparently don’t give them and she referred me to apartments.com which is how I heard of them in the first place. Then I asked for a pamphlet or information and of course they didn’t have anything. So then I asked for fees and I brought up animal fees and she informed me that they actually don’t allow animals even though it was on apartments.com. Former Resident (Vacated 5/31/18) In retrospect, while The Mill is relatively cheap, it is absolutely worth it to spend $100-200/month to live somewhere else in the vicinity. The Mill is a construction zone. The buildings are old and run down while the inside of the units have been "renovated" and that is how they advertise it. Not worth the money I have lived for a year and the rent is too much for what we get. The trash is always full. The valet doesnt pick up all the trash and then they complain about picking up more than one bag. Water is too expensive I over pay for eater when is just one person. They were one week late on giving me the apartment, and once I received it the apartment was fixed in a sloppy way. They also lost my rent money and gave me an eviction notice, and blamed the lost of rent on me.
The landscape is... (Verified Renter) The landscape is nice although other tenant with dogs bring them to do their business right outside my unite, kids are outside playing and screaming after 8:30pm and 9pm during Monday to Friday. Some are talking with bad words
New Owner While we've lived here for almost 5 years and found the staff friendly, the complex was recently sold and new owner is raising our rent over $200 a month. Being on a fixed income makes it hard. While the buildings aren't in the best repair, we have no major complaints other than outdated storm windows that leak air during the winter and sagging foundation that messes with doors closing properly on the decks.
