An appalling place for living I'm not gonna ask for much from an apartment complex but this place could care less for you once you have already signed and contracted the friendly staff turn into not so friendly people. infested with roaches, regular complaints about anything from office and neighbors, bad parking but that's mostly everywhere, and car break-ins but if you're ok with that then you been warned.
Do not move here Management does not care about their residents. They just placed a new soccer court on the property which has become a magnet for strange people in large groups of 20-30 people. They hold games on the property and take up our parking, denying residents and their children the use of the court. Plano police has been call endlessly regarding complaints. very fast service!... (Verified Renter) very fast service! was happy to see the issue was fixed before I even got home! upset such a mess was left in the repair's wake.
Noisy environment, loud... (Verified Renter) Noisy environment, loud cars and motorcycles on road between complexes. Standing water on exit and on some sidewalks. Frequent appliance failure, my dyer has failed at least 3 times this year, disposal fails once or twice a year even with preventive care,. Trash collectors more reliable now, the rules are difficult for a person who works for til 7pm.
Couldn't leave zero stars Where do I begin.. let me start with the ROACHES, pest, thin walls, you can hear your downstairs and next door neighbors TV. The office management is awful and never answer the phone and are somehow never there from 12-2pm. The grounds are never kept clean, dogs poop everywhere, trash, etc. This place is the worst apartment in JAX and i was so happy when my lease finally ended. Save yourself time and $ and avoid this place. 2018
Don’t park your car here I’ve lived at Avila for 11 months. During that 11 months the water has been shut off numerous times due to busted pipes, large cracks have started to appear in my walls, the floor in the dining room is sinking in and has separated from the baseboards. Do NOT live here. Bottom line, the condition of the apartment was unsafe. Inoperable smoke detectors, broken doors, and rusty fire sprinklers made me quickly change my mind about living here.
Do NOT move here unless... Do not move to this dump unless you enjoy sharing your food with countless roaches, loosing sleep because of noisy neighbors, maintenance and contractors coming in without knocking and not leaving any kind of notice, and rude management. When addressed to office I was told these exact words “well if you don’t want to live here you don’t have to.”
Moving Out is the end of the world If your looking at renting an apartment don't let the good reviews of the current residents fool you. As soon as you try to move out they will hit you with every charge they can.
