I do not recommend TaxRise based on my ************* husband and I hired TaxRise because we were hoping they could negotiate a better resolution for our IRS tax debt. We paid this company approximately $7,000 with the expectation that they would provide professional representation and help us achieve a better outcome than we could on our own. Taking money unauthorized out of someones account is unlawful! My fianc was doing a review of his taxes nothing was approved at the time this merchant charged him a fee!

I have asked multiple times to be taken off the call list along with "stopping" the text.. The calls and text continue. Very annoying and considered harassment in my book. If this program is so amazing they would not need to contact potential customers.

Tax Rise is a useless company preying on the emotions of people indebted to the **** They dont deserve 1 star!!! I hired this company 2 months ago and still have had no contact with the supposed case manager that I was supposed to be assigned. Signed up beginning of March, to date they have not filed ONE return for me nor did they inform the *** they are working with me, July is here and I get more noise from Crickets than I do from them. Unexceptable.

I worked with this company for two years. I gave them a call based on information I saw in a commercial. They said over and over again they could help me get most of my debt forgiven. They promised me based on my profile that I would get most of it forgiven and small monthly payment set up to take care of what's left. After my initial set up call where I got everything set up, I only heard from them when it was time to pay them. And every 3 months I had a new case manager. I had a very disappointing experience with this company. I originally called to cancel the service due to financial hardship. Instead of processing my cancellation, I was convinced to move my payment date. Unfortunately, the new date ended up being too close to my rent due date, and I could not afford both.
