Contacted this company to help me with my $5000 *** debt. The first person I spoke to did everything in their power to convince me that they were not a scam and that they would be able to help me.THEY WASTED MY TIME AND MONEY. This company is a scam! I obtained Tax rise services at the end of last year in hopes that they would help me with my tax issues with the **** This was 6 to 8 months ago and they could not resolve anything, I had to constantly call them to get updates and it was always that they are reviewing. I had to pay them upfront so I had to use one of their assigned banking financial services to request loan to pay or their services and in that process take on more debt for me. During our initial interview they felt that the *** would lower our $23,000 tax bill. I finally received my social security disability after fighting the system for 6 years. The back pay for only 3 years was granted, and no one mentioned that the funds were taxabl. My VA disability is not taxable, so shame on me, it never crossed my min. If I could give them Zero stars, I would. Paint you a pretty picture of how they will help you. You are able to take a breath. Then they stick you in the back. Do NOT sign a blank payment agreement. Do NOT sign a power of attorney. They will do whatever they want. They will not try to get the debt reduced. They will not contact you before agreeing to a monthly payment. This place is a scam. I started working with this company 3 years ago for my ***************************************** said that my tax debt has been lowered because of the "investigation" I needed to pay them a reduced amount plus fees for their investigation.it came to more than 2000. I was like great! Can you do something with my current tax filing? maybe you can save me there. Its unfortunate to say this but they were fast to collect all my money up front then they go dormant no calls no updates absolutely nothing its been approximately 5 months of them takin on my tax issues I supply them with all documents theyve ask my judgement still there and I wast told they would work on that immediately and to this day nothing absolutely nothing but taken my money $3,000 please find a true tax help company stay away from this company tax Rise inc

Taxrise guaranteed that they would stop the *** from collecting a lump sum payment that was due right away and they would neg with them to lower my debt-they ask me for $375.00 and because I was in dire need I paid it, -I called the *** to confirm if they got in touch with them to stop the lump sum due date and they had not-I contacted Taxrise and they ask me for $2300.00 more-I informed them that they hadn't done anything-I requested a refund of the $375.00 that I spend and I still haven't heard anything from anyone-Taxrise... read more

They are a shame. Im paying them to represent me and the money Ive given them I couldve give to the *** all this time. They did not help me. They made agreement on my behalf to pay my tax bill and didnt geven tell me before agreeing to the amount and the total bill did not change at all. No fees were removed nor was the amount lowered which is something I couldve done myself. Im ****** off?? I will never recommend them to anyone I dont care how sorry they are.
