This is the worst company to deal with. You can have the service cancelled and they will open it back up for a misunderstanding. The manager ***** was very rude and unprofessional. They dont respond to emails as well. How can you cancel something and then open it back up because you thought the wrong thing. Plus when you cancel something dont things start over.

I have been dealing with TaxRise since 05/15/2025 with no resolution. I paid one deposit and advised them of my limited income retired senior and was told needed to get loan 4000 and now I am paying on this additional large amount monthly to ****************** whom pif amount to TaxRise but there hasn't not been any resolution on my tax problems. I feel I have been scammed.
Taxrise will not return my calls, They charged me almost $5k to resolve my tax issue. Returns were prepared incorrectly. Pointed out that I do not live in a city limits and do not pay the income tax for a city I live. Proceeded to argue with me. I told them I would not sign the form until it was corrected. They will not answer the phone, I was on hold for almost 2 hours to speak with someone they never picked up the phone. DO NOT USE TAXRISE. They will scam you. The representative are experts trained to convince you they can assist you with negotiations and resolutions. Their fee was (7000$). Today I still owe IRS the same amount of Taxes. TaxRise will not communicate or provide timely updates on your case you have to contact them. Call IRS yourself and set up a payment plan and electronically give IRS the (7000$) that TAXRISE charge fees. They charged me $2000 to help me with my back taxes. When all done, all they did is set up a payment plan with *** that i had already setup and made payments higher after telling me they would reduce my interest to keep from giving *** more money. I will never refer anyone here, and would give a zero if possible.

Absolutely horrible communication. Theyre happy to take your money, but they wont give you any sort of solutions. They have an AI answer the phone and it is nearly impossible to talk to a human. ** recommend any other company.

I'm currently dealing with this company. ********. No communication once their received their money. *** letters being sent and still no communication. THAT AI BOT is the only thing working. I regret working with this company.

Run from this company. I called them in January 2025 and they assured me my case qualified for a resolution and the amount of back taxes I owed for 2021 and 2022 would be listed as uncollected tax debt. They took $3200 of my money which I had to put on a credit card. Its now March 2026 and I still owe the *** the same amount plus all their insane penalties and interest.
