Tax Rise Inc.Everything seemed fine up until now!I tried returning a call to a Tax Rise rep only to have the number cut off on me as though it were a non existing number!Also, the Tax Rise Contact Us page buffers for eternity, not allowing the use of it?!?I'm starting to wonder if I got scammed?!?

This company is a rip-off. I signed up with them last year at tax time. For the first time on life I owed IRS federal taxes amount of $4,500. And it's because my husband passed away and I didn't know that I should have had social security take out taxes. Yeah they seem very helpful and nice. At first. They need some money for this. Horrible customer service. Took Months and months for them to assign me a new caseworker after being told my previous one was no longer with the company. My returns had been signed and sent back but apparently lost - multiple times - and when I finally had a new case worker, they were condescending and again, lost my return. Scam untruthful company I had an agreement from October 2023 and until today April 2 ***************************************************************************** the truth that I was never told before I signed the agreement, that I have to pay 60% of the service fees before they work on my case . I already pay over $4000 and nothing happened for 6 months I called for cancellation and refund and they said money is not refundable so pay and you are under their teeth they do what ever they want not care after you signed.

I was told that I would not have to pay IRS but would pay them $165.00 for 3 years.. The girl that was assigned to my case wanted me to apply for a loan but needed to be rejected for it I asked why cause none of this was to me. Then she said that they would put a lien on my house until 1932. This was the was not a good experience, even though I was filled with a lot of hope that my situation would be resolved in a manner that would be both affordable, stress-free, and quick. My initial conversation included all the words a customer needs to hear for the purpose of being lured in. I would give ZERO stars if I could. I called them and was considering them to assist in resolving my IRS tax issue. They refused to give me a fee and said I would need to pay a deposit to get started but would not give me a set amount or even an estimated amount.
