I had contacted this company for tax help and originally accepted their assistance. I then researched the company and discovered that they had over 150 complaints and immediately sent them an email to cancel their service. I also contacted my credit card company telling them I disputed their $350.00 charge. Reputable company. I paid $500 to go with their service, but ended up not using their service. I only had $5800 in tax debt and my past tax records were done well. They make their business off of getting people with tax debt to refile their taxes after TaxRise has looked over and improved on anything that *** need fixing. This company calls me 2 times a day, I have reached out to them asking for them to remove me from their calling list. With no change they continue to call me. Today when they called I spoke to the customer service representative and told her to take me off the calling list or I would file a complaint with the BBB and informed her it was harassment as many times as they call. She proceeded to tell me that I dont need to get an attitude. ??Really?!

The initial case was put on the do not call list but the duplicate wasn't. Both are now on the do not call list so you should not receive any further calls.

Don't use this company! They are a scam! They scammed me $350 and told me that I will not pay anything to IRS. The guy who called me, ***, put me on hold that they were reviewing my case internally and when he came back, he told me that I will only pay $350 for their service. I paid it, and after a week, *** came back, telling me that I qualify for the Partial Payment Installment Agreement, only to talk to his financial expert, who came back with stories that I qualify for the Streamlined Installment Agreement! I do not recommend using Tax Rise. I woke up this morning to a negative account balance because they had billed me 30x the amount we agreed to after not hearing back from them for months and even on the wrong date discussed for, when payment was to be expected. After I explained the situation they reviewed the phone call and agreed that it was their fault and they dropped the ball.
