I came here in I think it was 2013-2014 and let me just say this was the best rehab I ever went too. My medi-cal covered detox for a week which is pretty expensive and 30 days of residential treatment. I met some great people and staff and learned so much here. I always tell people if they can to come here because I had a such a great experience. At that time the food was hella good. Family day was great no issues. My experience at the Camp was challenging at times, there are some aspects of the experience that need improvement, but at the end of the day, this place is amazing. The food is excellent, with 3 home cooked meals being served every day. The staff is excellent, most of them are angels with a ton of compassion and passion for their work. The living quarters are so-so, if you're wanting a hotel like experience, this place might not be for you. Beautiful, safe place to detox and begin your life again. With proper documentation was able to bring my emotional support animal, my 8lb dog and having him by my side made all the difference in the world for my recovery. Forever grateful to The Camp Recovery Center and all it's staff for getting my family and I through the most difficult thing I've ever gone through. Nearly 9 months later and I am still clean and sober.

This was my first time in Rehab and what a experience, from the Techs/Councilers/Therapists and front office staff. This place is truly majestic in its beauty with all the beautiful redwoods and wildlife. Adult Techs : David Jeff Sara Brian Joe Heidi Gregg Elle Eileen and Yolanda we all there to help anytime I need something. Councilors Crysten Jen Megan Hector and Katlyn always took care of any of my needs inside and outside camp. This was by far my favorite rehab. It's gorgeous and in the forest. They have a pool, acupuncture, yoga, tons of outdoor time, everyone sleeps in nice little wood cabins. It's a mens & women's facility which could cause problems, but in my case it did not, all the other patients were kind and respectful for the most part. There's definitely a mixture of young and older, all different addictions. I met some really amazing people here and staff.
