About The Chef My name is Paul Friedman and I like to think of myself as just an ordinary guy who has had a lifetime love affair with food and the fortune of having owned and operated 58 restaurants in South Africa, Europe and the United States. Chef Paul has created another wonderful dining experience. The food and service were fantastic. I had the ribeye and it was perfect. If you've never had South African influenced fusion cuisine then you haven't yet lived. Whether it is seafood, steak, or anything in between you won't be disappointed. Points for home. If you like goat cheese then get the stuffed peppadews. If you like hummus the red pepper inspired dish is incredible. If you love bread pudding then get the sticky toffee and go to heaven!

One of the absolute best restaurants in Houston!! The best authentic cuisine that you won't find anywhere else! The staff is very friendly and the chef will go around and check on its customers, which is something I don't see at other restaurants! Gotta try it, it will become your favorite restaurant! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Spent the evening with good friends enjoying the food and scene. Kyra took care of us as if we were family. I cannot recommend this place enough! Go now, forget the price, you deserve to treat yourself to this experience.

"A rose by any other name would still smell as sweet." No matter what incarnation this space takes on, Chef Paul is the heart and soul of this culinary destination. I've always been a huge fan of the food, ambiance, tradition, and high standard that each and every employee is held. This restaurant is prismatic in its quality and multi dimensional in its delivery. I've loved it here since the beginning and will continue to fiercely support Chef Paul and The Chef's Table.

Came to celebrate a birthday, and ordered a starter with a single recommendation from Petra, our waitress, only to find out it was the best dish I’ve had in a long time! We went on to accept four more dish/drink recommendations from Petra all of which were excellent 10/10

Not to impressed for a 200 dollar dinner, for two. I mean two dinner plates, appetizer, and a bottle of wine.
