About The Chef My name is Paul Friedman and I like to think of myself as just an ordinary guy who has had a lifetime love affair with food and the fortune of having owned and operated 58 restaurants in South Africa, Europe and the United States. Wow, what a wonderful experience! The food is a culinary treat for your tastebuds, the service is exceptional! Our server Galina was absolutely fantastic and very attentive to our every need! Per her recommendation, we went with the special (baby ribs with sweet potato fries) and it was amazing! (Should have taken a photo but didn't think of it.) Scallops and bacon wrapped shrimp were amazing. However I was very disappointed with the chicken florentine. I was expecting Lump crab as stated on the menu. Mine was minced. I asked about were the lump crab went and they took it back and I told them I would take it to go. When i got home i had a small container with minced crab. I checked the menu and it was suppose to have lobster too which i didnt even realize was missing until I got home. Overall solid 4 out of 5.

It states that we are clearly serving lump crab meat as well as our lobster tails. I’m not sure if the issue is the supply chain but quality has become difficult to find and prices have been excessively high. Upscale but the food is delicious and worth the price if you enjoy fine dining. Best sticky toffee pudding I've ever had...including Hell's Kitchen.

The tag line for The Chef's Table is "a culinary journey" and they are not lying! Chef Paul Friedman is the culinary genius behind Peli Peli. They parted ways and when Peli Peli Vintage Park went out of business he reclaimed the space and opened The Chef's Table. He's brilliant with flavors. The food is exceptional, so yummy you will keep thinking about it. The staff are professional but not stuffy, and very knowledgeable of the menu. The chef has created wonderful selections that he will describe making your mouth water and so entertaining as he visits your table.

I came here for my 7 year anniversary. The service was impeccable. Jamal was super friendly and informative on not only the menu but the wines too! Jamal created one of the best experiences Ive recieved to date. He was attentive but not overbearing or hovering. By far my favorite experience thus far. Then there was the food! I had chicken and she got steak. Both melt in the mouth and full of flavor. Would definitely reccomend and definitely plan to come back!

All the food was great. Try the chicken florentine with crab and the sticky toffee with ice cream, borh awesome. Chef Paul is back better than ever!
