overnight business trip, got there late 8.45pm and left by 7.30am next day for the office difficult to get the room warm, need to be able to adjust heat settings. second time staying here and in both cases cannot get curtains to close and keep room dark, always getting stuck or locked in place is not great for light sleeper clean and close to town in walking distance of the Merch Mart where our offices are located.

photos led us to believe hotel was a little outdated but upon arrival, we found that the hotel was extremely outdated, s very outdated, stuffy, burn marks in blankets, no fitted sheet on mattress. when refund was requested, it was denied because they claimed we had “occupied” the room for hours. we were physically in the room for 30 minutes and then had to leave for a reservation. lobby and elevator had a whole different vibe to when we stepped into the hallway to our room. close to everything
