Location, service, quality food, and great beverages -- this place has it all! I would definitely recommend and look forward to visiting again.

Great casual spot overlooking the beach. Fish tacos were awesome. You get a whole grilled fillet not just few pieces of fish. Excellent Bloody Mary if you like spicy! Service was prompt and courteous. We'll be back again.

Great setting with fast service. As others mentioned, sit at the deck and enjoy the ocean front. I loved how the fish tacos were un-apologetically great slabs of grilled fish in a taco. The primary thing I would improve are the seats, so we could have stayed longer.

Great location... Nice music with a great view but unfortunately the food doesn't equal the scenery. Let's be honest here---we come to get our bellies full of tasty goodness so all of the other niceties dont mean much if the food is bad. The Food-- the waiter recommended the fish tacos and who can say no to that. Well I should have! The fish was a small and flat -almost looked like frozen mahi from Walmart. Totally not the restaurant's fault but be aware that it is private and everyday folk won't be allowed in.

Although a gate pass is needed to drive in and park at the restaurant, the Dunes House is open and accessible to all visitors from the beach. I got their shrimp appetizer (1/2 a pound was plenty) which comes with a cocktail sauce. I have to say it was quite disappointing. They did not have a description so I didn't know what to expect. It came out room temperature, steamed, sprinkled with a bit of Cajun seasoning and some lemon wedges. It wasn't horrible tasting but I was left super disappointed. TERRIBLE!!! Food was horrible and cold. Grilled cheese was a slice of cheese on bread. Our server Nikki was very rude and didn't help us when we needed help. Do not waste money here

This is an amazing beach restaurant with the best fish tacos around. Love the blackened fish with beans, cheese, lettuce, and sauce. I cannot leave the island before eating here at least once. Perfect with a cold beer and live music.

I was not impressed with the very few options on the menu & the fish tacos were very bland. The fish tastes as bland as lettuce. Great location & friendly staff.
