Stay away from this gym.. The staff are horrible and don't know what they are doing half of them time. They always harass me when I try to bring a guest because they want my guest to open a membership with them.

Listen, I come from an entrepreneur family and the last thing I want to do is give another business a bad review... Run, run far away. Run so far that you don't even need a gym membership anymore! I've never seen anyone clean their machine after using it, ever. I also never see employees cleaning any equipment. So you can simultaneously push your body AND your immune system to its limits at the The Edge Fitness, Norwalk! At first, this Edge location seemed like a great facility with excellent staff. It wasn't until I required actual customer service that they let me know. I've spent over $1,000 with the edge for personal training. At first, I had tried to cancel personal training back in August. I had a trainer, Emily (who has since been fired), try to re-sign me back up for personal training and talk me into a signature without my knowledge. I have been a loyal member at the edge club in Norwalk. Paying my month dues etc. I recently moved out of state and I informed the sales associate Christine about my move via text/email. To no avail I was charged $152 for yearly dues and past due fees. I was appalled and I contacted the club and spoke with the assistant manager Patrice, who informed me that she was sorry for the mishap and that I had no worries about being charged for the next billing cycle. Ooh I think this is my first negative review cause this place is definitely the worst gym I've experienced. I was never a fan of this gym while I was using it, but it functioned as a place to get a workout in, so I didn't bother leaving a review. When it comes to how they handle money, memberships, cancellations, etc., however, that's a whole different story. I went in to the gym several months before my membership ended to cancel it. I love the strong classes but was not a fan of Sarah Fiore teaching the Strength 60 ES. She did not demonstrate any of the stations we were going to do. She just verbally explained them. For the entire first rotation I had to ask her what we had to do specifically in each station because nothing was demonstrated. Once the class was over we cleaned up and then she quickly left. I give the Edge a low rating because of their financial processing firm, ABC Financial. First, it takes them two days to respond to an email. What kind of business takes two days to address emails?? I am a student and I am leaving for college in another state. I mistakenly sent them a copy of my invoice for my classes at the school (on school letterhead) instead of a course schedule.
