The worst customer service ever. The staff here is incompetent, unprofessional, and lacks the ability to communicate properly. They DO NOT talk to each other at all and if you have a problem you'll be explaining yourself over and over again with each person you speak with. I'd cancelled my membership back in 2014 and they claimed they "never got my cancellation" and sent me to collections. ABC financial is garbage. Showed them a signed lease and an offer letter from my company that sent me to Chicago. They still won't end my membership. Shame on them. I loved the Edge but they have an awful partner with ABC financial.

I used a 1 day guest pass for a friend to help me with strength training. The general manager - Jason - came up and asked us to leave in the middle of it! He said because they have a no training policy... and that he was watching on the cameras! (CREEPY) I cancelled my gym membership. I should have listened to my friends who told me there are much better gyms than this one!

Ok I'm going to try and be as nice as I could possibly be in this review towards the worst gym I've ever been apart of in the 15 years I've been a member of a gym. Yelp doesn't allow ZERO stars so unfortunately I have to leave 1. So let's start off with the actual gym itself...they take a $40 or $50 annual fee from each member every year, however, there is always a piece of equipment broken and stays broken for weeks and months on end so where does that money go?! DO NOT SIGN UP TO THIS GYM , I REPEAT.. DO NOT SIGN UP TO THIS GYM! It is a nightmare to cancel even though we are moving to AUSTRALIA! We have sent passports, green cards , flight tickets and itinerary and it's still not enough for them. The ABC financial company is a joke. We would never recommend this gym to anyone due to this company that runs their financials.

I have been a member for years and have seen the gym transition many times. I like the vibe that it is a no thrills basic gym. I don't mind that they took away the towel service. I didn't mind the trailer porta-potties when they remodeled the locker rooms. But, I do take issue with the maintenance schedules. We wait weeks and sometimes months for machines to be repaired. Absolutely hate this gym. I signed up and had no idea of the random maintenance fees they charged my account twice a year. The wifi in the gym never works, its so annoying, and i dont think they have enough bandwidth for the amount of people using it at once. THere is always a wait on every machine ,and the cardio equipment is so wobbly. Way to many young kids taking up space and not working out. They need to limit their customers. Way too overcrowded.

BEWARE!!! THIS PLACE IS A RIP-OFF!!! Once you join, you'll be stuck paying them forever! I signed a one-year contract in January 2016, and renewed it a year later. I tried to cancel my membership in January 2018, and they insist that I keep paying. They have been harassing me and dunning me for weeks. Gym was great, was a member for over 10 years. I moved to Chicago and the cancellation process has been painful and after three months, I'm still paying, but am told that it will stop. So, in summary, great facility, crappy customer service when it comes time to cancel a membership.
