Service was good, but the food was overpriced, basic, no seasoning and fish was overcooked. I would not go back.

Waiter forgot our appetizer. Waiting 45 minutes for food and my prime rib was barely room temp. It was not busy. For a price point competing with steak houses like Prime 47 the service and quality of steaks are nowhere close.

Steaks were good but sides were very bland. Over $240 for two. One drink each, soup, steaks, and shared two sides. Nothing was bad, but at that price point I would expect much better. Probably won’t return as you can find much better food at way lower prices in Indy.
Ordered French Onion soup, focaccia bread, and beet and peach salad to start. French soup was fine. Avoid the focaccia bread and they should remove it from the menu altogether. The beet and peach salad was drowning in dressing so best to get the dressing on the side. Our server came to our table 3 times within 45 minutes and only twice after we had food. We watched our drinks sit after the bartender made them, for 14 minutes. 2 managers circled around but never made any table touches. A young bartender with dark hair and glasses was very kind as he would tell we were upset… our server was kind but failed in attentiveness and menu knowledge

I took my girlfriend out for her 40th birthday. The atmosphere was nice but I expected more with how their website made it sound. My Halibut was great but her pork chop barely had flavor. Prices didn’t reflect quality of food nor did the ambiance. I wouldn’t recommend this place as there are many other places that have better food and atmosphere.

I have been couple of times to The Fountain Room, and go out for dinner very often. I can see the quality of the food has dramatically decreased vs the price. The location / vibe is great, but does not match at all the quality of food. I was really disappointed with the last visit. Bit overpriced vs what you get back. The restaurant requires a real step up @ the kitchen.

Steaks were awful. Tasted poorly and cooked terribly. Very disappointing for a place I was looking forward to brining my mother to.
