Best part of the night was drinks. Server was very friendly and the restaurant decor and atmosphere was very unique and enjoyable. The food was incredibly average though and for such a high price point expected much more.

This place is way overrated for the price point. The service was terrible and the food was average and overpriced. They charge a $1 upcharge for craft ice in a $17 cocktail. The potatoes tasted like boxed instant potatoes. Not a single steak out of 4 was cooked at the correct temperature and I’ve had a better grasshopper pie at Kroger. Skip this place and go to Tony’s, Hyde Park, or St Elmo’s for real food and much better service.

I have been highly anticipating going here for some time. We went for the prime rib which was average at best. We ordered the potato casserole, the wedge salad, and brussel sprouts. These items along with two cocktails and one glass of wine tallied up to $200. Nothing we had was exceptional. For the money there are so many better options in the city.

Steaks arrived cold to lukewarm & truly had no flavor. The wild mushrooms were a joke & also flavorless. The butter on the steaks did not even melt because they were so cold. Twice, my wife’s steak came out cooked wrong. Should have been medium, came out well done. 2nd steak came out basically raw, as if they we’re trying to be funny but at $68 a steak.. not funny. Mac n cheese was bone dry & luke warm. Potatoes were cold. Drinks were unimpressive. Luckily the server Kayleigh was amazing & got one steak removed & the 2 sides... read more

We were excited to share dinner with out-of-town guests at the Fountain Room, but a poorly trained staff made for a horrible experience. It began innocently enough, ordering two shrimp appetizers. They came served on the same plate, fine, except there was a single serving of the cocktail sauce. The waiter could not be flagged down and never returned to check on us. Poor service! Food was cold! Not worth the prices! CO2 issues so no draft beer.

Sea bass was overcooked and chewy. Almost inedible. Went for my wife's birthday. They gave her a card signed by staff upon arrival, but then nothing. Not even a token dessert with a candle, or something similar. Poor form. Very thoughtless. Only positive was wait staff was excellent
