Food is always very good. Sampler appetizer was changed from crabcake to meatball. While good, the meatball was totally out of place on the sampler. We had a 7:30pm reservation and didn't get our table until 8pm. They need to manage their reservations better.
We had a reservation for 7:45. We weren’t seated until almost 8:30 and the hostess said this happens often. Not to us. And why do they ask if it’s a special occasion? It was a birthday and that didn’t seem to matter.
The restaurant was fine and I would recommend this restaurant to others but there isn’t ample parking to say the least. Horrible. Unless you have a parking pass for the LIRR or it’s beautiful weather for walking, parking is ridiculous. Be sure to get there 30 minutes early to park and make your reservation time. And after driving around for 10 minutes I dropped off two of my friends to go in and keep our reservation for three and they wouldn’t seat them until I arrived. Over priced- food was ok-730 reservation got us a table at 8-overcrowding- we sat a teeny table for 1, there was 2 of us- customer s and staff kept hitting in to us Awful awful mixed drinks Special was some sort of margarita that tasted like Jose Cuervo Margarita mix on ice Coconut Martin tasted like pineapple juice and some sort of liquor- would not return
I've heard nothing but great reviews about this place! My husband and I went on a Friday night and we had to ask if we had a waitress because we were never approached by anyone . My husband got the porterhouse and i got the shrimp . The porterhouse looked small and the shrimp had no flavor! We were very disappointed, and hoping to be able to give it another try.
We had a 745 reservation. Didn’t seat us until 830. That was after speaking to hostess 4 times. They did provided appetizers for us as soon as we sat down. I ordered a burger and it tasted like salt was poured in it. Wouldn’t go back
We had a big table for 6 and enjoyed our meal very much. However, the waiter was not attentive and quite unfriendly.
To start, my sushi appetizer was phenomenal however when I ordered the medium rare cowboy ribeye I expected a bone-in ribeye with a long bone and I got a regular bone in ribeye cooked medium well. The waitress told me that the “ribeye” is a boneless ribeye and the “cowboy ribeye” is just a bone-in ribeye. Very strange. I was disappointed in my dinner since Ive never had such a bad experience here as I did today.
The menus posted on Open Table listed a price fixe menu but this was no longer available. The special listed for Wednesday, the sushi rolls, the price was higher at the restaurant.
