I have had nothing but exceptional visits every singe time I go to Thrive. The receptionist is always so nice and thorough with getting the initial information, The Vet techs are incredibly professional, courteous, and again super thorough in ensuring they miss nothing, then the Veterinarian is second to none.The one I have seen on my visits at this location is Dr. Rice. *MANCHACA OFFICE REVIEW* Easy and great service! The vet tech greeted me as I walked in, and when another took me back to the exam room, he was so personable and easy to talk to. This visit has been nothing short of simple and friendly! My vet was so easygoing and relatable. She made me feel very confident as a dog mom and helped to make sure I knew everything necessary for my pup. I highly recommend Thrive!!! The staff here is so amazing!! I have a dog that's been aggressive in the past and requires a muzzle. The physician's assistant, Tommy, and Dr Lozoya took such great care of my dog-baby and comforted me in knowing they could handle him without me in the room. By the end of the visit he didn't even need the muzzle! And their prices are phenomenal! For a visit, nail trim, and heart worm test, it cost just a few dollars more than a visit alone at my dog's other vet.

This place is extremely affordable and their website makes it so easy to book appointments! The only thing is I encourage you to book appointments they fill up pretty quickly! The staff is pretty quick to get us in a room and when I took my kitten in I was nervous for her because she is my little tiny angel and they were very loving towards her and gave her lots of treats and kisses and I can totally appreciate that in a vet staff! I now take all of my dogs there and continue to take my kitten!

I am so glad to have found the vet and the techs here. I have found the vets in the Manchaca area to have terrible bedside manners, and I was done with all that with my last dog. Now, my cat, one I inhereted with the house, suddenly needed care, which started with a preliminary check at an emergency vet, which I then chose to have treated at a regular vet (cost) and found Thrive. So, I decided to try another Thrive. It's about equidistant from my house as the other one I reviewed. I actually didn't know this one existed and had a little trouble finding it as it is in a small strip shopping center that doesn't grab your attention. Inside it is much larger than it looks. This one is also not connected to a pet store. My sister set up this appointment for me as I was pretty sure I needed to put my sweet kitty to sleep. She and I met there, with Maddy, my cat. I've used Thrive so so many times! I have 4 cats (3 kittens, 1 adult cat) and they all have come to Thrive for one reason or another. Mucas in the eyes, swollen legs, spider bites, weight plan consultations, fevers, etc. Everyone at Thrive has always been friendly and aware that as a college student on a budget, money can get tight. They always talk to me about what they're doing and how much it will cost (which I don't always get at other vets).
