Had a 9:05 am appointment for lube and oil change. Arrived at 8:55 am and was told there were quite busy and 9:05 was "check-in," not appointment. Then was told there is a "five hour window," so I could have been in that smelly sitting room until 1 pm. Have patronized this dealership for eighteen years. In distant past service advisors were skilled and knowledgeable. Now it is youth with a smile and no real Toyota savvy. Ownership change had resulted in lousy and unpredictable service. Look elsewhere.
Toyota of Portland completely ripped me off with an $148 oil change. Mark Moore went on to explain to me that my car "takes a lot of oil" and that "for some odd reason, oil change prices have spiked". I spent $148 on an oil change for a hybrid rav4 at Toyota of Portland, normally I get my oil change at Toyota of Wilsonville for $49.95. This is my third bad experience with this service department. This time, I made an appointment for an oil change and tire rotation. I was told it would take about an hour (which is quite a bit longer than Jiffy Lube, etc) so I decided to go to their waiting room and read for an hour. After 2 hours, I went out to check on the car and, after the representative checked, he said they hadn't started on it yet and it would be another hour. Why did I make an appointment? And why do I keep coming back to this dealer? I won't again.
Terrible service! Took my Toyota Rav4 for several years for regular oil change and milestone maintenance and repairs. I have spent hundreds and thousands of dollars at this place because I trusted them. BUT this is the last time! Brought my vehicle for oil change and inspection for a grumbling noise. It costs $275 ($85 for the oil change, net of $15 specials discount, + $190 for the diagnostics to check the grumbling noise). Stay away! If you want a horrible experience when buying a new Toyota - this is the place to go. Poor trade in valuations (even when they tell you a higher range), huge markups over MSRP, and poor customer service.
This vehicle failed a pre-purchase inspection because of the extensive rust damage to the frame. The dealership says it's not that bad. So either a mechanic with no skin in the game was lying, or Toyota's service team was lying in order to save face. I'll let you be the judge. Buying used cars requires due diligence on the buyer's part, so be sure you get that inspection if you're shopping here. This dealership is certainly more than ready to sell you an unsafe vehicle for a price that does not reflect its true condition.

Agreed with Sarah Dickey on a price for a CR-V. Day later she changed her mind when I was about to travel 50 miles for the transaction. Not forthright and clear with pricing
