I recently bought a 2018 Toyota sienna van at Toyota of Richardson . I paid 30,000 for it. I paid up front in total for it a Wednesday at 1pm.. I told them I would be back on Friday to pick it up. When I got there at 10:30 am Friday morning they told me it wasn't ready and it may take a few hours. I live 1 hour away in Ft. Worth. Would not suggest you buy from here! Our vehicle we purchased 2018 Ram 2500 supposedly had went through service and it got a 171 point inspection instead of 172. Noticed on test drive truck had a little sway but it was a bit windy and salesman said oh it’s the wind! This truck has been fully inspected! Oil light and fuel filter light had also not been reset. I Purchased my first supra from Toyota of Richardson in 07/2022 with Christina Soto. Initially, my experience with Christina was pretty standard. Wouldn’t give me an exact price, wanted me to just come in, etc. standard dealer games. She lets me know about the incoming anniversary edition & i told her i was interested. DO NOT BUY FROM THEM. They sell cars that are in horrible condition and REFUSE to own up to their mistake. 40 minutes after driving the car and it is falling apart. Their customer service is HORRIBLE and trying to get a hold of anyone is a joke. Save your time and go somewhere else.
We found the truck we wanted online. There were 2 trucks in the area. Both were around the same price and were identical except the one at Richardson had a littler lower mileage. We went to Richardson first since their truck had the lower mileage. Called to verify the truck was available and discussed the price. Do not buy from this dealer! I drove to this dealer after they advertised a vehicle for one price on Autotrader and then found out at the dealership they wanted to add on several thousand dollars for a "loyalty" package that is mandatory. They said it was to reimburse them for work they put into the vehicle. I heard several other potential buyers at the dealership say the same thing regarding their advertised price versus the price in the actual dealership, a classic bait and switch tactic of sleazy dealers. My last few used car buying experiences have been so easy that I was way too trusting at Toyota of Richardson. I have come to realize that my guard was down and that ToR took advatange of us in every way possible. They have a good selection of vehicles (which no one else did at that time), but don't trust these people any farther than you can throw them because they will rip you off with a smile on their face. RecommendedMISREPRESENTATION ALERT! DO NOT USE THIS DEALERSHIP! I bought Toyota Camery 2023 just 15 days ago. Surprisingly I have check engine light on just after 15 days. I just bought a new 2023 Toyota Camry. After the sale I was told I would get only one key Fob and that the second key Fob would be mailed to me when available in a month. I was advised that the Fob shortage is a problem with Toyota and not the dealership. After search's on the internet, it appears this has been a problem with Toyota for months.
