Went here for my birthday, service was horrible sent our food back because it was ice cold they brought us new food that if you didn’t hurry and get it in your mouth it would be cold. It took 20 minutes to get one glass of wine when we first got there. Never came back to even check if anything was OK
This is my second time to this restaurant and I was very disappointed this time. Was not happy with the way I was seated it was extremely noisy and crowded and cramped. The prices were extremely high $5.50 for a glass of soda. The naked mozzarella salad was awful the cheese was so watery. Chicken picatta was dry. Ravioli was only redeeming aspect of meal..will not go back here!!!
The host didn’t even care for our names on our Open Table reservation. We got email fro Open Table stating we didn’t show when we did. Our waiter was stoned or just didn’t care. Food was ready beyond fast ended up just barely warm and old tough tasting as if it was premade and heated slightly. Waiter never bothered to see if everything was good he never came back until bringing the check. So disappointed we wasted one of our few nights here and money.
Very disappointing Not what expected. We went first time in this restaurant because the most of the restaurants are opening at 5pm since it was new year day, but this one was opened since morning so I booked a table for me and my two kids for 3:30pm. I ordered what looked like an amazing dish of Parmesan pizza, the crust was a Parmesan chicken, and i was excited for it. When it arrived it was cold so I sent it back. When it came back it was cold again. I sent it back to be heated up and it came back luke warm. I decided to just eat it at that point as our waiter was so nice I didn’t want to annoy him. I’ve been coming here for 10 years and suddenly their portion sizes are half of what they were. Brought friends here and it was so embarrassing since I suggested it and everyone was still hungry. We should’ve ordered appetizers but I didn’t know they changed the portion sizes. Pizza is smaller. Cannolis are smaller. Order of ravioli only comes with 5 small raviolis.
Food was terrible, service subpar and was super disappointed in the quality of the food. I’ve been to this restaurant several times and was always very good. I don’t know what happened but this last time was horrible. I wouldn’t want to go back again.
My wife and I had dinner before a performance at the Carnegie Hall. Except for the excellent location we do not have good words for the restaurant. The food was less than average, the Burrata cheese seems to have been mixed with another cheese and did not taste fresh. The service was intrusive, the waiter came with the bill before we finished the second course. It appears they were in a rush to vacate the table for the next customers. It was also very loud and kind of hectic. Over all a disappointment.
we had a terrible table along a very busy alleyway. But service was very good. Food was not good. I had the "regular size" vs Petite Dover Sole. Was a very, very small piece of fish, and overcooked. My wife's fish (branzino) was also overcooked and small. Realize it was a very busy night, but I was not at all impressed with the food
