We had a reservation on Open Table at this restaurant. We arrive sharply and one of the waitress, in a very rude way told us that the kitchen was closed! After a few seconds we were lead to our table to be served in a very impolite way always being asked to quickly decide. If the restaurant was about to close they shouldn’t have open the spot to be reserved. I completely understand that was thanksgiving and probably everyone there was willing to go to your família but so did ours want to have a pleasant thanksgiving meal.
Food was simply ‘eh’ and one of our parties’ dishes came out late whereby everyone else’s food got cold waiting. Our server was busy with a large party and forgot about us. The table was by the kitchen so it felt frenetic and the ambiance was odd. This establishment was a real disappointment and I would not go back or recommend to a friend.
The management has obviously changed, including many of the staff (wait staff and chefs), the menu has changed and not for the better. I ordered chicken piccata and it came as a flat breaded and fried thing. The only veal is chops. We were very disappointed in what was one of our favorite restaurants.
Have eaten here dozens of times. Have always enjoyed this place...but this visit was disappointing. Good service but mediocre food. Feel bad because it’s always been one of my favorites. Will go back again and hope my last meal was an aberration
Never never again. I am in the food industry and I can tell you that the food was horrible, flavorless, tasteless, ill seasoned or not at all, and pastas were gummy. It is my feeling that they made some of these things the day before and reheated them, like the pappardelle, which was ridiculously terrible. Prices high, most things overcooked or burnt. After having several positive experiences at your restaurant in years past, I was extremely disappointed especially with the service. WE had to ASK for everything from coffee, to being ready to order, to requesting the bill, to the return of the bill with our credit cards. The food arrived luke warm but we did not have the luxury to wait for it to be reheated. I will NOT be coming back.
After being an active fan and patron of this restaurant since the early 2000's, I am heartbroken to confirm my dinner party of 4 on Saturday 11/17/18 at 7PM was a truly miserable dining experience. Chicken was dried out. Vegetable (broccoli rabe) was uncuttable and unchewable!
