Don’t go in between lunch and dinner! Raw bar was closed. Waiter also told us that there was no chicken dishes available on the menu and when I ordered the grilled octopus and calamari he said they were out of that also. So only thing left to eat was the lamb chop or salmon dish.
Experience was very poor. We went during holiday season, so I will cut them a break because it was very busy. They never acknowledged that my daughter was celebrating a birthday, despite me telling them. The food was very average, the service was poor and the prices are ridiculously high for what you get. Will never go back and I have no idea why this place is so popular. Real Italian cuisine aficionado's would never eat here.
Terrible. Avoid. Food tasted like it was sitting under a heat lamp all night. Over priced. Very gross, extremely sub par, typical Italian theater district. highly suggest you skip out on this one. Would not go back, bread was also disgusting.
Noisy, overpriced tourist trap. My three lonely scallops were so scared by all the noise, overcrowding and total lack of attention we had to get up and walk out. Never be back.
We had a reservation for 6 people @ 8 PM. When we arrived it was PACKED and when we finally wiggled our way to the Maitre d' he confirmed our reservation and the wait begins. We FINALLY get taken to our seats upstairs. We order our starters and wait. We order our entree's and wait. We wait for over 2 1/2 hours for our food. Thank goodness our waiter was kind and tried to help....the manager upstairs tried to help....they came with at least SOME food on a plate but it wasn't warm. Then we finally get our entree's and they wer... read more
Food was low quality to almost uneatable. Seafood pasta was the absolute worse I’ve ever had. The seafood was tiny bits of mystery fish. Luckily I did not get sick. Our wine was overpriced at $66 and not good at all. Service was efficient. It was freezing next to the door and the noise next to the bar was awful.
Reservation for six people at 5:45PM. We had show tickets across the street for 7:30 and we mentioned that to the waitor upon our arrival. We were seated in Siberia upstairs in a tight crowded room with ceilings low enough for me to reach up and touch. Very loud, crowded and very warm. We ordered quickly even though we allowed almost two hours for dinner. They Ran out of olives for martinis so they were served with nothing. By 7PM food still not delivered and the waiter MIA most of that time. After fighting crowds to get dow... read more
I had a 6 p.m. reservation and there was a line almost out the door to even get to the front desk to check in. They had zero crowd management.
Food came out late and frozen Noisy, lousy wait staff Wouldn’t go back for a free meal
