If open table is managing resv how come they were so!!!overbooked we waited over 40 min then desided to seat at the bar the line was out the door
Not sure but Trattoria is having a bad week. Poor service and attitudes that just don’t care. It’s been a favorite of our NY trips for years. Specifically staff doesn’t want to clear or set up tables, cold pasta and generally weak performance. And the holidays are here!!!! On a good note their sister restaurant Bond 45 continues to do a stellar job!
Overbooked. People shoving in a long line to get to reservation desk. Loud.
Showed up for a 6:15 reservation at 6:05. Waited in line to check in for 30 minutes. Told at check in they were running 45 minutes to 90 minutes late due to a reservation schedule problem. We departed. Complete waste of time.
Restaurant was severely overbooked. Line just to the host’s desk was over 40 people and out the door.
The service was terrible, when we asked the server to clear our appie plates she reluctantly did and she my wife asked if she should keep her fork she replied “whatever floats your boat!!” She never returned to our table, had a make server fir the duration. He was a little better but disappointed with the food. Just an overall, strange, not enjoyable occasion. Will definitely NOT be going back 👎🏻
The service was extraordinarily slow and the food was just okay. Not worth it!
I was treated like total crap with respect to being seated. They tried to seat me at the absolute worst table imageable and play it off as if they had no idea. Yeah right. I ended up with just a bad table. Aweful overall experience even though the food was solid (hardly exocetional but definitely solid). Nowadays there are several places you can get way better service. Been there several times in the past and won’t be going back.
All food was served cold Was the worst Italian meal anyone in our party had in their life. Anti pasta bar - repeats items in the entree menu Service was poor.
