The food was terrific...our waiter MOST attentive and the food FABULOUS!! I highly recommend this lovely restaurant!
I ordered the 60 dollar bone in rib eye. I asked for medium it came to me raw. I asked the waiter to heat it up a bit. Which he was very accomadating. However I received the steak well done. I was not happy but was gonna just deal with it. The waiter asked how was it. I couldn't lie. He said I'll get you a new one. He was really nice. However I got the meat more raw then the first time. I just left it and paid and left. The waiter was nice and bought us dessert. Wouldn't order the steak ever again
This used to be one of our standby places for a pre-theater dinner. Unfortunately, it seems to not be kept up quite as well as one would hope. On our visit, there were good parts, the antipasti bar seems to still be quite good. The bartender seems to be good too, but the food was lackluster. The "signature" lasagna was dry and flavorless, as was a salmon special. Both dishes were exceptionally overpriced for what they were. I guess you pay for convenience and not much else.
The server couldn't care less about us. I told her there was a huge dirty smudge on the glass she gave me to taste the $67 bottle of wine and she just smiled and kept pouring. Then when I put my hand over the glass to stop her she looked at me with disdain. After bringing a clean glass she never offered to replace the nearly 4 oz she tossed. I had to ask to be replenished myself later in evening. The veal was bone dry and the ambience bright and noisy and all that for a skyrocketed tab. I don't usually give bad reviews but t... read more
We have enjoyed many meals at Trattoria Dell' Arte over perhaps 20 years. However this visit was a disappointment.
its a good place for carnegie hall and theatre, but don't expect outstanding food or service. pizza is ok.
Pre-theatre dinner is an unbelievable mob scene. Pace is too rushed for such a pricy menu.
Went for dinner before the theater at Lincoln Center. To our surprise, at the bottom of the menu was a note stating that there was a $30 minimum charge per person. This is not listed on the website menu. Won't be going back there again.
We were seated in a section that felt like 'seat 'em & forget 'em'. poor service. not the same great quality of food & service that we have enjoyed in the past on the main floor of Trattoria dell'Artes.
Trattoria Dell'Arte has a 4.3 star rating with 13,432 reviews.
Trattoria Dell'Arte is closed now. It will open at 12:00 p.m.
