Scrumptious mushroom and burrata pizza!
Repeat visit that did not disappoint. Great food and great service.
This was a terrific restaurant with a very tasty menu. Two in our party had fresh dover sole that was just heavenly. Another has a sumptuous shrimp dish that had great flavors. One had a delicious scallops meal. I had a lobster-pasta special that was superb! Even the child in our group had a wonderful handmade pizza. Would definitely recommend this restaurant. Our party even saw an actor from Grey's Anatomy there with his family (and he was quite pleasant).
We traveled from Texas and chose this restaurant on the advice of a local friend. We were quite pleased with the outcome. The service was friendly, picking up on our excited energy, taking us to an even more jovial place. The food was impeccable! The wine list was perfect. Everyone had a marvelous time. I will definitely include this on my next trip to the Big City!
We love dining at Trattoria Dell'Arte. We try to go there every time we visit New York. In addition to the excellent food, we enjoy the personal attention from both the waiters and the hosts (m'aitre des). On this visit, we werea little disappointed. We were seated outside, and the m'aitre des were clearly acquaintances with the party at the table next to us. The food at Trattoria Dell'Arte was amazing! Everything was really delicious and fresh. The tuna entree had a wonderful, flavorful sauce. The calf's liver was also just excellent. The service was also very good. Our waitress was warm, friendly and professional. I would highly recommend this restaurant.
I LOVE TRATTORIA DEL ARTE. I think it is the best restaurant in NYC. The welcome is amazingly friendly, the food is always good, it is always lively and there are always men!
The management team at Trattoria is spectacular. The wait staff are efficient and friendly. The food is consistently great. My faves: stuffed baby artichokes, thin crust pizzas, 101 layer lasagna (ask for extra sauce), veal chop Milanese (a ka Flintstones Veal) and my favorite NYC salad-Tuscan chopped chicken & vegetable (it's only on the lunch menu but the chef will make it for you any time). It was too easy to get a res so we assumed this would be horrible; we hadn't eaten there in 10 years. The food and service were better than ever. We had pounded out veal chop parmigiana and red snapper. Both were excellent but we could hardly finish them because we went crazy for the antipasto bar. They have everything there - especially good: brussel Sprouts and roasted cauliflower.
