This company was willing and happy to refinance my orginal auto loan with a lower intrest rate, and slightly lower monthly payments. The problem was the refinance charge, the charge would have added so much to the overall payout that I would have owed more for the car than if I did not refinace to begin with. The problem is that they would have had no problem doing that. I applied through credit kharma and have a current credit score of 670. I have never been lat eon my car payment or any of my credit cards so I figured id give it a shot. I got an email from Drew and he said that they were unable to pull my equifax credit report due to a security freeze on my credit report. I called and was pn the phone with a superviosr with Equifax for 45 min and she told me there was no fraud alert or freeze on my report and for me to have the company making the inquiry to call the business line. This place is not a loan company! Basically what they do is submit your information to different lenders to see if any will approve you. This is a hard inquiry on you credit report and you might get multiple of these. If you get approved someone will call you and tell you the interest rate and length of the loan. What they don't tell you is that they add a $300 fee for doing this. They also tried to add $800 gap insurance to the loan without explaining the extra fee. I was pre-qualified, and then after answering the same questions again via email, I was denied because I have a late payment with my current lender. Isn't that the point of refinancing: to reduce interest and payments so you don't get behind again? What is the point of pre-qualifying only to be denied in the end anyway? Very misleading and a waste of my time. Waste a few points on my credit rating in the process, too. Thanks for nothing.

I was prompted to do a pre approval through lending tree and a bunch of companies including Innovative funding did hard inquiries on my credit without permission. Beware of theses companies.

i try to refiance my car and i sumit the application , they dont even approve..other than that they add the hard inquiry on my credit report.

I was not pleased with the person I talked to. I had read the reviews and I saw that there were some added fees. When he brought up some of these things and I said I had seen others talk about it in the reviews, he basically got upset with me and told me that he didn't give 2 cents here or there if I got the added coverage. Way to make a person feel like crap Geoffrey, for reading a review and doing some homework, before they commit to anything. This will not happen again.
