Birdeye is looking for a qualified Head of BDR Enablement who can build, grow, and scale Birdeye’s global BDR organization. The individual in this role will be responsible for designing talent development programs and building enablement resources. The role will report to the VP of Sales Development and into the marketing organization, will have 1 direct report in the US and a team of 3 to start. Will work closely with the Sales and Sales Enablement team. You must be a seasoned enablement professional looking to have impact at scale with a track record of operational excellence.


Enablement Programming

  • Onboarding: Design and optimize a comprehensive onboarding program for new BDR hires in the US, India, and the UK.
  • Team Management: Lead a direct report and a team of 3 to deliver effective onboarding and closely collaborate with sales enablement team
  • Collateral Refresh: Analyze and update enablement materials, including collateral, messaging, and email templates.
  • Coaching Frameworks: Develop coaching expectations and frameworks for BDR management.
  • Product Training: Partner with product marketing to ensure BDRs are trained on new product launches and messaging.
  • Documentation: Author documentation and create learning paths for new hires and in-seat BDRs.
  • Call Coaching: Build call coaching plans and define call scorecards to assess performance.


Campaign Alignment

  • SDR Enablement Strategy: Own the enablement strategy for SDRs related to major marketing campaigns.
  • Playbook Development: Design, deliver, and continuously update BDR playbooks aimed at maximizing meetings set for sales.

  • Bachelor's degree
  • 8+ years of experience in B2B sales, leadership, and enablement


Education: Bachelor's degree

Experience: 8+ years in B2B sales, leadership, and enablement, with at least 5 years in a dedicated enablement role, preferably supporting BDRs in a high-tech B2B SaaS environment.

Organizational Skills: Highly organized, able to execute tasks autonomously and efficiently.

Process Development: Proven experience in creating new processes and workflows.

Coaching Expertise: Demonstrated ability to train and coach sales talent in prospecting and qualification techniques.

Project Management: Track record of successfully delivering on enablement project plans while proactively identifying and resolving obstacles.

Documentation Skills: Ability to translate business process changes into clear documentation and training content.

Content Creation: Experience in authoring training materials, process documentation, and supporting onboarding initiatives.

Technical Proficiency: Expertise in the following platforms:

  • Salesforce
  • Outreach or Salesloft
  • Call analytics software
  • ZoomInfo
  • LinkedIn Sales Navigator

Communication Skills: Exceptional verbal and written communication, organizational, and time management skills.

Work Environment: Experience thriving in a fast-paced environment.
