As we previously reported we had numerous problems including installation of several windows that were not the ones we ordered so they had to be reordered, replaced and reinstalled at a later date; we had problems with windows that would not stay open; windows that were not caulked properly; and one window that continues to leak.

I would probably recommend Universal Windows Direct, but as time goes by and the problems that I have with my installed sliding glass door go unacknowledged and what appears to be ignored, I am less and less likely to do so. The installers told us there was a problem with the door during the install, and said they would turn in a work order to have the door either repaired or replaced, but that was months ago. My salesman was not trustworthy. Would not return phone calls or emails. His supervisor was not much better. I was not given the deals they had advertised but was told I did! I was told to lie to the government about the tax credit and on and on. My windows were measured wrong so It took 3.5 months to get them put in and then one of them was cracked. That took another 2.5 months to get put in. This was a long drawn out project.
Several upper windows are difficult to open and hard to lock securely.
