On 08/11/22 we visited ********** Beach. We parked in a lot that apparently belongs to ** Parking Co. It was an unpaved sand lot with a little grass. There were, of course, no lines painted since it was just dirt. We felt the payment required was high but had little choice. When we returned to the lot we found a ticket on the windshield for $63.00. The offense listed was "vehicle parked in two spaces." We parked in a lot at 154 106th Ave in Treasure Island. We paid $9 at the Park Mobile kiosk right by our car. When we left, we had a ticket from this company for $63. Obviously this company is taking advantage of visitors to Treasure Island who are not aware of this game they are playing so that they can collect expensive "fines". Treasure Island Police should investigate this company and shut them down.
We paid 22 dollars to park in ***** Pass gravel parking lot that had no parking lines available. Came back just an hour and half later for a 63 dollar citation for parking in 2 parking spots. This to me seems like a scam to get more money for the company. Please do not park there. We drive a big SUV. And was definitely not in 2 parking spots.
I just parked at ******** Maine. My Car number is D67RAW.I asked the the gentleman that I have just got an hour for the car parking and will it be extended. He said you would get a text since I had given my number at the kiosk and recieved a parking time. I recieved no extension message and 20 mins late I saw a citation of $63.This is absolutely unacceptable and criminal. Please help fix this
Portland Maine .... I parked at the ***************** lot across from Ferry Terminal. I found the *** kiosk and paid 10:50 AM to 2:50 PM ... 4 hours for $35. We were late getting back by Ferry .. around 4:00 PM .. found a citation for $63 on my windshield. The Citation was printed at 11:02 AM ... 12 minutes after I paid to park ! When I paid at the kiosk, I wasn't able to print out the transaction to place on my dashboard, but will try and get the info from my credit card company. We went to a trip at ********** (3 families) Paid for a total of 8 hours and got there before the deadline and I got mailed a fine for $63.00. Waiting to see if the others got the fine as well so I got witnesses. Couldn't appeal on the website. Sent an email and waiting on response... We arrived and paid at approximately 6:00pm. I think this is an incredible amount of money for a parking ticket given within 28 minutes of expiration. Parked in a lot in downtown ********. Was not allowed to select any number of hours, was billed $42 and was only there for two and a half hours.
Parked on ********** on 5/21/22 near Claytons. Inserted credit card and paid for 2 hours. Left within 1 1/2 hours. Never received a citation, nor would I expect to since I left prior to the time limit. My credit card was charged for the parking. This must be a scam as it claims I received a citation which I did not.
