Before shipping with UShip we called the company because we were concerned about these LTL trucking companies billing questionable additional charges, and they assured us they the side with their clients- they work to fight against bogus charges. We trusted this company with our business, was willing to push all of our LTL freight through Uship. I got scammed out of $350 because uship doesn't explain the process when posting a vehicle to be shipped. They gave my contact information to anyone and everyone and I was immediately bombarded with emails, calls, and texts from "carriers" so I went with one and got scammed. Then the legit company they hooked me up with damaged my vehicle and the driver put his hands on my wife in front of our kids. He's extremely lucky I was 1000mi away at the time. uShip refused to take accountability for any of it!
They don't provide any value. 1 of my 3 pallets was lost and another was broken and UShip basically just told me to kick rocks. Use another broker that is committed to providing value and stands behind their insurance (WHICH I PAID EXTRA FOR)
If you enjoy the circus with football bats and clown shoes, then you will enjoy working with Uship and SGT **** Transport, as this is all they provide youa three-ring circus with endless hours on the phone, emails, and live chat attempting to get the order correct and finding ways to overcharge you. Do not use these people, they do not hold anyone accountable in their organization. They hide behind emails. Bought their insurance, just in case, and it was denied when they lost part of my shipment. After two weeks of waiting on insurance to review claim, they never gave an explanation on denial.
Unimpressed. Drivers have little incentive to take care of your valuable stuff. There are large gaps in the Uship insurance. I will not use again.

The whole experience was a little dicey. Poor communication ( with Driver) and when driver showed up he asked for cash payment even thought it was arranged through Uship's coded payment system.I did receive my transport but it was not a pleasurable experience.* I used a trusted company outside of Uship for my **************.

A Ushipper picked up my shipment.. a $2295 paddle board, and disappeared with it.. blocked my ph #s etc... I had purchased full insurance.. or so I thought. My claim was approved, but found out they were charging me a $500 "Service Fee"!!!! Not an industry standard. What a nightmare.

I used you ship to send my motorcycle race motor for WI to ** to my sponsor for rebuild. I did purchase the extra protection. My engine shipping crate is heavy duty with a poly bottom, 2 x 4 structure with panels all screwed together, over built to protect my valuable motor. It has many orange decals indicating "Fragile" I chose 3 day shipping beginning on a Monday pick up so that it is not being kicked around on a loading doc through weekend.
