After briefly leaving the industry and returning with the hope that the platform had improved, I found that significant challenges persist. Truckers continue to rely on Uship due to their dominance in available loads. I joined USHIP 10 years ago as a Carrier and I was required to go through a screening process to be established as a Legal Carrier (Transporter). I've used Uship more than five times now. Up until the most recent incident, the transactions were great and it felt like Uship provided a forum for two parties to get a motorcycle from one place to another.My most recent experience was eye-opening and is a strong warning to future users. I bought a motorcycle from a guy outside of ******* sight-unseen. Employees are unresponsive. The expectation for you is to take time off and Uship be ready a week late, have a wide timeframe to be available for pickup: example ****pm for a day shift worker(you). If you don't make this, they will drive back to their origin and forgot about your shipment until it's in their best interest to ship extra items in the area for delivery. The extra money asked for is used as a safety net in case something goes wrong, which still keeps uship in the positive in event your shipment goes poorly. They... read more

Do not deal with uship. Trust and safety team is a joke. They will hold youre money play games with youre account leave you stranded 2k miles from home then when u get upset they shut the account down. This is a big company so they have the money to play games. But hopefully they lose money and get shut down like the rest. People are already struggling to pay bills and uship would take 20% from me on every load plus from shipper. So a 5k loaf would cost me and the shipper almost 1k and I have proof I would Pay all my feedbac... read more

Uship trust and safety is a racist garbage company. I transported fir them for over 15 years had a problem with a customer about a pickup so ********************** decided to put my account on hold I couldn't release funds got stuck 2k miles from home with no money I message uship 24 emails then Monday I get my 15 year old account revoked. I am taking them to court over this.

Communication was good until 50% of the shipping cost was etransferred to shipping company. After that a date was scheduled and ***** auto shipping does not communicate back anymore.Terrible system. There is no way to make a complaint about the shipper and also no one to talk to at uship. Will never do business again.

I had a truly terrible experience shipping an heirloom bookcase from the midwest to ************* this summer with uship. It arrived literally months late, there was no communication as to why during the wait, and worst of all the piece was damaged. Despite having insurance, they refused to pay anything. This was after they saw the woodworker's estimate. Selling vendors who extort money out of their customers. Once made aware of the situation they said that there's nothing they could do about it. Horrible company who doesn't manage or take any responsibility for the services or providers that they are selling. Extortion is illegal the last time I checked and should not have to be tolerated by anyone. Avoid both uShip and Montway at all costs.
