Pete Hinkel was my inspector, and he was extremely thorough. From pointing out substandard wiring to checking the air filter in the attic, no detail goes unnoticed. He also got very detailed photos of a roof and its underlayment on a 116 degree Arizona summer afternoon! I will not be using any inspection company apart from Valley Building Inspections, they have my full confidence.
Martin was very thorough with his inspection. I really appreciate that he so patiently took the time both show and explain things to me. I highly recommend him.

First, when I called to see if I could schedule an inspection on relatively short notice, they accommodated my needs and the inspection was done two days later. Pete did the actual inspection and then completed a detailed report covering all of his findings. I was able to review the report on line and then had a detailed conversation on the phone with him the next day. Update: 5/7/20 Pete met me today for my second new construction phase inspection. let me tell everyone, if you are not hiring this company for your entire process of a new construction build, then you will be missing out on this service and saving you many issues in the long run. Pete pointed out so many issues with the framing, floors, doors, and everything else that you may have prior to them installing the dry wall and the insulation. Paul came back for my 1 year inspection and found several items my builder never fixed on the exterior of the home and also noticed a hole in my roof where water was getting in. My builder has been completely unresponsive on several items (Pulte) and I just don't feel like I can trust their judgment or their workers with how many items I still have outstanding almost 1 year after moving into my home. Paul completed an inspection on my new home. He was very professional and thorough. I really did not think I would need an inspection for a new build but I was pleasantly surprised with all the detail he provided. I would have never seen nor been able to find these items. I passed the report to my builder and will wait to see if they fix most of the things before I do my walk through in a couple of weeks. Definitely get an inspection and Valley Building is the best.
Pete Hinkle did a great job. He seemed very thorough, patient and professional.
