I received several emails concerning this vehicle, one behind another. When I clicked on the link to the Explorer it didn't work. Nor did the links to the other suggested SUVs. Upon visiting their dealer site, the vehicles weren't even on there. When I emailed them about it, I did not receive a reply from anyone.

I would not do business with Vandergriff. I went to the dealership to view a 2016 Sienna LE, initially they had 2 listed one with higher mileage prices for more than the lower mileage vehicle. When I asked about this I was told the more expensive model had power 3rd and 4th doors. After researching it appears this may have been bait and switch as according to Toyota power 3rd and 4th doors are listed as standard on 2016 Toyota LE models. My overall experience was not close to satisfactory. The dealer compared their price with other dealers on CarGurus to demonstrate 'what a good deal I would be getting'. Then, proceeded to mark up the stated Internet/CarGurus price. I indicated that their CarGurus price was deceptive and left the store. I spoke directly to at least five other dealers and visited four and none of them increased the stated CarGurus price. I do not expect to go back.

This was a bait and switch. When we arrived they stated they were not able to show us the car due to mechanical reasons. However I had spoke to the sales person twice that morning and his manager also. All of this communication took place hours before I arrived; plenty of time for them to notify me. I drove 45 minutes from Allen Texas specifically to see this Rogue. They stated the car was new to them which was why they were not aware of the mechanical issues; CarGurus had their add in place 2.5 months prior to that so this ... read more

They were very quick to reply at first. The first person I spoke with have some more information about the car stating that it had new tires and brakes when in fact they had only been checked not replaced. Then when pricing was discussed they had a few thousand in ad ons that were not in the ad or disclosed anywhere else. You know, the old carpet protectant and clear coat protectant. These guys are a prime example of bait and switch. The price they advertise is not even close to what they attempted to slide in on the deal sheet. When the salesman finally did respond he was pushy and not willing to work with me. They also low balled my trade by over $2,000. Don’t waste your time here! There are better deals in the area without the headache.

Preston was great but when I went to do the paperwork for the purchase they added a $2800 "get ready" fee for getting the car cleaned up between being traded in and out on the lot. I felt like that should be included in the window sticker cost, not an add on at the end. They wouldn't budge on it so I left. Total waste of an hour drive, they should state what they want for the car from the beginning.

set up appt. and drove to the location to find out the truck had sold the night before. I would of appreciated that being checked on and a phone call prior to the drive out.
