Got a car on line work night shift. It was hard to get ahold of the people and management seamed to be in meetings a lot. Was hung up on after a 15 hold on phone.

Oil change for my 2018 Toyota I purchased at Village Pointe. First one I had to purchase since my 2 year Toyota care was over. I had the vehicle in 3 weeks ago for an oil change and they told be the price was 79.95. I told them that I wasn't interested in a 80 oil change so I left without an oil change. We have had a horrible experience with this dealership. We bought a certified pre-owned 2016 toyota highlander with 30,000 miles on it 1 year ago. Since then, the battery has been replaced by the dealership three times. It is driven on a daily basis, at least 10 miles a day, and it has been regularly not starting because the battery keeps dying. We brought it into the dealership multiple times, leaving it there for days at a time for them to find a cause for this, and each time they found nothing wrong with it. They proceede... read more

What started as a great experience has gone downhill over the last two years with the service department. We have bought vehicles at other dealerships used and purchased the disappearing deductible warranty and never charged when bringing our vehicle in for issues. At Village Point it is the flavor of the day.... at one point it’s zero to look at vehicle, then the next time it’s $162 to look at it, and they keep quoting $2000 worth of preventative maintenance that is not on the maintenance schedule. As great as the sales tea... read more

Don't Ever Take Your Car Here Purchased our van here and have had nothing but trouble with the service department since. Things that are covered under warranty one time, are not covered 9 months later when the same part goes bad. The warranty is still good for two more years. So tired of dealing with Brandon and the service crew that are made up of liars!

Business response:

We would like to discuss in more detail what your warranty covers. Please reach out to Kyle Newsom at 402-800-1152.

They weren't interested in me. Visited two car dealers yesterday. Village Point Toyota and Baxter Subaru. The experiences were so different. I told both that I was 4-6 months away from purchase, but just doing some research and window shopping. I had a particular Toyota in mind, and I asked to test drive one. They put me in a 2017 model with an "As is, no warranty" sticker. When I asked to drive a new model, I was told, "They all pretty much drive the same." No one was rude, but certainly weren't interested in me.

Business response:

J, we are so sorry you weren't given the vehicle you wanted to test drive. At you earliest convenience, please contact our Customer Relations Manager, Deana Juelfs at djuelfs@villagepointetoyota.com.

Fixed wrong part I went in to have a wheel bearing replaced. I explained that the noise was coming from the passenger side and when I turned right it became louder, when I turned left it was quiet. So the mechanic replaced the drivers side. Returning home from the service center I could tell immediatly nothing had changed and the noise was still there.I returned to the dealer and explained they had replaced the wrong part. After returning the car another day Brandon told me they could fix it for a reduced extra fee. I wanted... read more

Very poor service. Don Blazek was rude and incompetent. A very simple minor repair turned into a waste of a considerable amount of time, requiring two trips for service with the repair still not done. We were told additional parts needed to be ordered. I completed the repair at home on my own. We have plans to buy 2 Toyotas in the next 2 years. The service department is separate from the sales department, but we will be taking our business elsewhere. We will have nothing further to do with this dealership.

Business response:

We are so sorry to hear about this experience. We always want to get things done right the first time. Please contact Kyle Newsroom at 402-800-1152 to discuss your situation further.
